Assalamu 3alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu Brothers/Sisters! :D

The names Heba, and I am currently a First year student @ RMIT doiing a Bachelor of Applied Sicence and alhamdulilah I am really enjoying it so far. I am also studying with Al-Kauthar Institute and really loving all the courses as well. :) May Allah reward them for giving this opportunity to those in the west who want to seek Islamic knowledge. Ameen.

I have been on this Forum for over a year now and I have found it to be so beneficial mashaAllah. When I first came on I would only read and never dare to post, always beeing afraid someone would attack me! But now I don't know what all the fuss was about. It has been so great meeting so many practicing and honest muslims alhamdulilah . I have really learnt to see and accept things from an Islamic perspective rather than a cultural one and that Pleasing Allah [subhana wa ta3ala] is more important than pleasing others.

Coming on here I only had a very basic understanding of Islam, but alhamdulilah with the Guidance and Will of Allah and some help from this forum and it's member's, some who have become my best friends that has truely changed. May Allah [subhana wa ta3ala] reward u all!! I have learnt so much and am forever grateful. Still, I know I have a long way to go inshaAllah.

One of my fav. Hadith from the Prophet [sal Allaahu 3alayhi wassalam] is:

"Show mercy to those who are on Earth, then he who is in the Heaven will show mercy Unto you" - Narrated by Abu Dawud & Tirmidhi.

Lastly, If I have ever wronged/offended anyone on here I sincerely ask u to please forgive me inshaAllah. Only Allah [subhana wa ta3ala] knows it was never my intention to do so.

i just came back from ya house :o (actualli a couple of hrs ago) but cos i love u so much subhanalah im gonna post in ur thread lol.
nah seriously sis! wallah i havnt thanked u for what u done to me!
once upon a time, back in year 12, i began to talk to heba, subhanallah all she done was told me this story of how she wore the hijab, subhanallah ever since that day i got interested, hanged around wif new friends, wore the hijab, heba u opened my mind wallah. u sent me to this site, and wallahi i dont know how to repay u but seincerily thank you cos u have done alot. ur in my duas always subhanallah. ive known this girl for about 8 years (bad estimate) but i knew the actuall heba only at the end of year 12 which was a shame, hey i used to make her laugh but we didnt know each otehr closely, and now look subhanallah were so close to each other, if i dont c her for a week i lose weight LOLL its stress man. nah kidding, but it feels like ages. thanks legend. may allah subhanahu wat3alah reward u sis
