assalamu alaykum wa rahmatallahe wa barakatuh,
As many of the brothers and sisters on this forum are aware Umm Rasheed's daughter, Maryam, passed away on the 3rd of January.
Sheikh Kamal and Umm Rasheed have decided to name the school in Somalia Unity For Sisters Inc aims to build after their daughter Maryam and the school will be called Maryam Kamal International School.
Unity For Sisters Inc had the idea to build a school for sometime now and have so far raised $4,500, alhumdolillah. The amount we aim to raise is $100,000, inshallah.
The eventual aim is to build schools in all major centres of Somalia/Somaliland, inshallah.
