Husni

you must of been half asleep when you wrote that sis :giggle2:

I absolutely love the name Mustafa, its my all time fav, but my husband refuses to let me name him that. We are kinda decided on Musa if this baby turns out to be a boy, but Allahu 3alam.

For boys and girls names so far I like:

Mustafa
Yusuf
Yahya

Girls:

Summaya
Yasmeen
Aasiya

heheeh yeah I know
My son's name is Mahmoud Husni.
We chose Husni because it was my husband's grandfather's name that lived to be over 100years old mashaAllah. He was Jordanian.
Actually I would have preferred that to be his first name!

Abraham's middle name is Anwar,
I didn't realise we were naming our kids after egyptian prime ministers until my husband pointed it out LOL

Ishaq

I am a revert and have a Italian background so trying to choose something thats not so hard for my family to pronouce. Obviously my main objective is to have a name with a Good meaning :)

Most names have well known english translations, so it shouldn't be hard for your family inshaAllah.

My Aunty named her sons Nuh, Ishaaq, and Zakaria but her mum can't pronounce those kind of names so it's Noah, Isaac and ZakaRYEa

i know it's quite common, but i love and can't hear enough of the name Muhammad, especially when it's pronounced as mu-hhh(emphasis on the h)amm-add
subhanAllah, it's like halal music to my ears :P
problem is, may not be pronounced correctly by non-Muslims, most say 'mo-haa-med' and it's just like brother pah-leeease!

Is the ' meant to be a 3ayn? If so, I think that would be impossible! Also for some reason the h is never pronounced, so you might end up with Tal-a. Like the Ahmed for some reason is pronounced Amed!
