I've tested out whether Bolt actually does respond, and guess what? He did!
It's not really an interesting letter but nevertheless, we know he does respond.

Comment: Hello Andrew, It was pleasing to read your article 'Let them eat steak', (Wednesday, June 15th) I can't stand the messages of pro-vegeterianism being given especially to the youth in Hollywood films. It is enough to observe that carnivores, by nature CANNOT digest non-carnivorous foods and their teeth are sharp for a better ability to consume meat. Herbivores CANNOT digest non-herbivorous foods and have flat teeth as they need not sharp teeth to consume plants. Nature has destined these two sets of animals to consume what they must to survive. A lion who would choose to eat sushi will not live much longer, so why are these non-existent self-hating, nature-denying animals portrayed to our children on the cinema and TV screens? Some people will say that we shouldn't harm animals by eating them, I ask them, 'Why then did God give us sharp and flat teeth? And why did He give us the ability to digest both carnivorous and herbivorous foods?.' Of course most of them neo-hippies are atheists or pantheists, so we should suggest to them that 'nature' (their new god) created us that way, why deny our natural roles? Well, if they choose to do so we must say one thing... Your'e sure missing out on something good. Just don't try and brainwash our children into thinking that there is something wrong with doing something God and/or nature has given us the right to do.
