It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri that the Prophet said,

من قرأ سورة الكهف في يوم الجمعة أضاء له من النور ما بين الجمعتين

“Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.”

Narrated by al-Haakim; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 836.

[Umm Binyameen]

‎"When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the on...e who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

THURSDAY

As we all know, the Prophet peace be upon him recommended fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.

The prophet (SAW) declared, 'Three men whose dua is never rejected (by Allah) are: the fasting person until he breaks his fast (in another narration, when he breaks fast), the just ruler and the one who is oppressed.'[Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi - Hasan]

Try to regularly fast Monday's and Thursdays insha'Allah. You will notice a huge difference in yourself.
