"The Koran describes not only the development of external form but emphasizes also the internal stages - the stages inside the embryo of its creation and development, emphasizing major events recognized by contemporary science... If I was to transpose myself into that era, knowing what I do today and describing things, I could not describe the things that were described... I see no evidence to refute the concept that this individual Muhammad had to be developing this information from some place... so I see nothing in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved..."

I did not come into contact with any Muslim before I embraced Islam. I read the Qur'an first and realized no person is perfect, Islam is perfect, and if we imitate the conduct of the Holy Prophet... we will be successful.

Important reminder inshaAllaah -
"Become a scholar if you are able. If you are not able, then be a student. If you can not, then show love for them. If you are unable to do that, then (at least) do not hate them." -'Umar ibn 'Abdil-'Azeez"...The eyes are filled with tears and the heart is full of grief but we do not say anything except that which is pleasing to our lord.."

Deeds without sincerity are like a traveller who carries in his waterjug dirt. The carrying of it burdens him and it brings no benefit. Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah
When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you.
When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."

Du'a is like a weapon, and a weapon is only as good as the person using it. It is not merely the matter of how sharp it is. If the weapon is perfect and free of faults, and the arm of the person using it is strong, and there is nothing stopping him, then he can lay waste the enemy. But if any of these three features is lacking, then the effect will be lacking accordingly. Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah
When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you.
When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."
Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah
