    The Prophet said:

"There was no Prophet who did not have companions who were his supporters - who were guided by his guidance and who followed his way. After them come ensuing generations, who say that which they do not do and who do that which they forbid"

    [Muslim]

"This world cannot break you—unless you give it permission. And it cannot own you unless you hand it the keys – unless you give it your heart. And so, if you have handed those keys to dunya for a while—take them back. This isn’t the End. You don’t have to die here. Reclaim your heart and place it with its rightful owner: God." -Yasmin Mogahed

"Truly in the heart there is a void that cannot be removed except with the company of Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala. And in it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except with the happiness of knowing Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala and being true to Him. And in it there is an emptiness that cannot be filled except with love for Him and by turning to Him and always remembering Him. And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness.” - Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (r)

"He is not a habeeb (loved one) whom you are in need to deal with him with forbearance" - Imam Ash-Shafi`iyy.

That is to say, the person who you have to wonder how to phrase things with, or how to say something to, because you fear their anger or bad thoughts about you, that is not a habeeb to you. Rather the habeeb is one that you can say what you please with and feel safe from their anger.

^what about parents? Like you definitely love your parents, but would you say what you please around them without fear of anger? Or am I not comprehending the 'say what you please' thing right...?
Whoever remembers death often will find a small amount (of worldly things) sufficient for him; and whoever includes his speech in his deeds will speak little.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"The greatest reward comes from the greatest trial. When Allaah loves people, He tests them, and whoever accepts it gains the pleasure of Allaah and whoever complains earns His wrath."

    Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2396; Ibn Maajah, 4031;

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"When Allaah loves a slave, He says to Jibreel, 'I love so-and-so, so love him,' so Jibreel loves him and then calls out to the people of heaven, 'Allaah loves so-and-so, so love him,' and the people of heaven love him, and then acceptance is placed in the Earth for him."

    (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Hadeeth #3209).
When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you.
When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."

"My soul doesnt need strength it needs God : Everything other than God is created. My soul is other than God and is therefore created. My soul is created. All created things are dependent. My soul is therefore dependent. My soul is dependent. All dependent things are weak. Therefore my soul is weak. My soul is weak. All weak things need that which strong. Therefore my soul needs that which is strong. My soul needs that which strong. Nothing is stronger than the Creator of strength. Therefore my soul needs the Creator of strength" - Imam Muhammad Abdul Latif Finch (may Allah swt preserve him)

    Subhan'Allah...
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)
