O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)

"When the seeker persists despite difficulties, they will find that Allah will grant openings for them, and will find ease in their seeking. But it will be in the time Allah wants, not in the time the seeker wants. Setting goals and working at a specific pace are part of the means we need to take. But Allah will send us setbacks to teach us that we cannot make His gifts come when we please" - Shaykh Faraz Rabbani (may Allah swt preserve him)

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!"

"God asks us in the Quran: "Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you deny?" We are immensely privileged by the very fact that most of us do not have to worry about shelter and food. We have access to healthcare, education and technology. We have skills, talents, encouragement and support. We have the freedom to pursue our dreams. We deny this when we do not grasp that each one of us is privileged because we have the very means and opportunities to make a difference for ourselves, our families, our communities and for the greater good of all" - Imam Zaid Shakir (may Allah swt preserve him)

"When looking for a teacher, spiritual guide or sheikh, make sure that they do not speak ill against others. Ibn al-jawazi noted that there are many who speak of ikhlas, but when they see their students studying with others, their hearts burn like logs in a furnace. Calling to the truth should never be an excuse to malign other scholars and activists." - Imam Suhaib Webb.

"Verily, the index finger that testifies to the oneness of Allah in prayer, utterly rejects to write even a letter, endorsing the rule of the Taghout (tyrant). Why should I seek his pardon? If I have been imprisoned rightfully, then I accept the right judgement, and if I have been imprisoned falsely, then I am greater than having to seek pardon from falsehood." - Sayyid Qutb [when he was asked to write a few words seeking pardon from Abdul Nasir]
'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveller.'
