My son masha-ALLAH has alot of energy during the day and always causing trouble ... but when he's asleep, he's oh so cute and oh so innocent.
I can't help but give him a heap of kisses when he's sleeping
When he was about one i taught him how to do tashahhud with his finger. Cute!
I also find it cute when he goes to give salaams to my bro as he leaves for work to IISNA, and it isn't a salaam without a handshake. He also throws in a hug and a kiss in there as well, hehe.

Yeh those hugs out of nowhere are by far the best! My daughter dosent walk as yet (inshaAllah soon) and its so cute to see her struggle to come to me while Im walking away, crawling at top speed and then hugging my feet (she can stand with support). And she knows how to kiss so shes always giving us heaps of kisses! mashaallah tabarak Allah!
And when I tell her "No!" when shes doing something wrong, she covers her face with her hands and does this really fake cry! It's so cute, and she keeps peeking now and then to see what my reaction is. lol mashaAllah."When you perceive hardness in your heart, weakness in your body, and paucity in your sustenance - then know that you have spoken about that which does not concern you!" - Malik Bin Dinar

This morning my son was telling me he wanted to eat in his left hand. I told him no, cause we're Muslims and we have to use our right hand. He then asked me why he had a left hand for? lol. I told him we do other stuff with it.
isa ... my son just saw the picture of your twins in the avatar and told me what they were doing. I told him they were sleeping and he says but there's daylight ya 3ammi!! Sorry, not sure if you got those words in arabic, hehe.أَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ

I'll tell u what's cute.
When your own kid becomes shy from you when they notice you watching them doing something.
I have Jibreel's dua in my car and when i put normal Quran, my son says he wants "the other one" (Jibreel dua).
He loves the bit when the sheikh recites all of the names/attributes of ALLAH Ta3aala.
Sheikh: "Ya jabbaaru ya ALLAH"
My Son: "Jabbaaru"
Sheikh: "Ya samee3u ya ALLAH"
My Son: "Samee3u"
I love hearing him, but when i turn to look at him, he becomes all shy!أَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ

LoL @ SARAH. recipe for disaster.
One thing my daughter does which has me rofl is if she has something in her hand and she knows that her dad is going to take it off her she'll crawl of to the closest corner and hide der with her head down without looking up at him once, holding on soooooo tight on watever it is his trying to take off her. she can stay in dis position for half an hour and will only move if she thinks his forgotten bout it. she's an eager girl tabarakallah. the funny thing is if im going to take something off her she'll hand it over and sook after it yet she refuses to give into her dad. my poor lil baabaaMaY GoodNeSS SuRRouND YoU, MaY HaPPiNeSS Be ARouND YoU, MaY ALLAH pRoTecT YoU & NeVeR FoRGeT YoU.

Haha! How cute!
MashaAllaah..
I love my little nephew's shy smile. He gives it off when someone would have talked to him and you ask him what had been said...he gets all shy and covers his eyes with his hands and bites his bottom lip..but he's soo cheeky! When my heart became constricted and my paths became narrow - I took my hope in Your pardon and forgiveness as an opening and an escape - My sins seemed very great to me but when I compared them to Your forgiveness My Lord, I found Your forgiveness to be greater. - Imam al-Shafi'e (Rahimahullah)

OOOOH...another thing A'isha does is when im feeding her she'll take the food out of her mouth and give some to the cat. He follows her around everywhere . on a few occassions when she gets sick of him she locks him in a cuboard and sits against it so he can't get out. Once she was in d kitchen n i went in to do the dishes i heard him meowing in the cuboard i opened d door n she crawled away sooo fast giggling. tooo smart for her own good i tell ya.

Our family went on a picnic today (yes, the whole clan.. and yes, they took up the whole park
masha'Allaah).. my sister and 2 cousins who are around the same age as her were doing what kids do at parks, running around and playing. They made friends with another girl who was the same age as them, and they got talking. They somehow came to the topic of Christmas, and my sister and lil cousins were telling this girl that we don't celebrate Christmas, that there's no such thing as Santa Clause, that we believe in Allaah, and that they get presents from their parents all the time..
Keep in mind this is 5-7 yr old girls we're talking about here. The little girl they were talking to said she was going to go and tell her parents on them, and she made the point that her parents were police officers. You had to see my sis and cousins come running back to us, afraid of this little girl and her parents lol
The look on their faces when they came back was priceless lol they were afraid, yet seemed quite pleased with themselves at the same time lol
I think they've acquired good dawah skills from quite a young age lolWhat is for you will not pass you and what passes you is not for you!

I try and teach my son that we are Muslim and ALLAH doesn't like music. So one day my sister had a book and keyboard which she was using and i heard my son say to her in Arabic, "ALLAH doesn't like music." Aww ... and kids are meant to be "too young" to understand the halaal and haraam of Islam.

Today i took my son to have his teeth cleaned, masha-Allah he was scared at first but quite patient throughout and didn't cry ... then when it was time to brush his teeth before bed, he asked me why he had to brush them if the Dentist already cleaned them for him?
Gotta give him that one.أَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ

lol MashaAllah sis your son is very smart, the way he thinks about things is amazing.
The cutest things that my nieces do now is just being themselves. My niece who is 2 now MashaAllah runs around like she is an energizer bunny, MashaAllah she keeps going and going and going, and she goes to anyone who has food, she will stand in front of them and just automatically come closer to you so you can feed her lol. She also thinks what she has done is funny so she is constantly smiling.

Now that I've had my baby, I was expecting my daughter to be jealous. She has surprised me with how good she's been. However, I did pick up a bit on jealousy the other day when she kept telling me "Mummy, the baby doesn't love you. But I love you." LOL, so cute......

My little 18 month old has become the polite police, masha'Allah. She keeps saying 'jazakAllah' whenever I give her something and reminds others to do it as well if they pass on things to each other or if she gives them something.
Masha'Allah she also loves praying and listening to the recitation of the Quran and says parts of the shahada and adhan!"When you perceive hardness in your heart, weakness in your body, and paucity in your sustenance - then know that you have spoken about that which does not concern you!" - Malik Bin Dinar

Today my almost 4 year old son prayed Isha with me. Half way through the fard he got up, went to the toilet, then came back to continue. At that point i was in the sitting position, so he made takbir, went into ruku, back up, made sujood (3 times), then sat alongside with me. Seems to have the right kind of idea going.
Also the other day he slightly moved some candles i have in the lounge room whilst i was still in bed. When i asked him why he played with them he was quite shocked and amazed that i knew without even seeing him. I only knew cause they weren't lined up properly. Many times i hear my parents tell him off about something when i'm not within his sight, and again he's amazed that i know what was said ! Kids are funny.أَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ

lol... all these stories are really cute... well... maybe except for that poo story...
kids are really cute when they're cheeky... and they're even cuter when they're podgy...
my cousin's kid... mashAllah... he's like a tub of lard... all you have to do is blow wind at him... and he'll fall down from his own weight... lol... its so cute when u see them walking like they're half drunk... with their feet at awkward angles... and then when they run like that, with their arms flailing around... it's cute and hilarious...

I have to go past my grandparents house every single day just to see my lil' cuz. My aunt lives with her parents still, so that makes visiting a lot easier
I tend to go a little wacko if I haven't gone past and seen him
He's such an adorable kid mashaa'Allaah, and so bright! I've got a photo of him on my phone, so whenever i miss him I just flip open my phone and sit there and stare at him
Quite sad aren't I? lolWhat is for you will not pass you and what passes you is not for you!
