    Assalaamu alaikum,

Does anyone know of any good maths tutors in the Northern suburbs which can come and tutor at the students home?

I used to tutor maths, but my student got a C+ in the exam, effectively ending my career aspirations as a tutor.

lol.. what do you need to do to become a tutor?

Maths is one thing I could tutor in, but never really looked into it. I think I'll just stick to tutoring my brother for now lol

All you really need is the same copy/edition of the students prescribed text book. Do some of the problems before going there and just work through them with the student. It's really all about preparation.. Oh and patience.

I don't think its feasable if you only have 1 student. If you have multiple students then you can prepare once and just repeat the content multiple times. Give a discount to the student if they find you someone else that needs tutoring.

Houda, I'll speak to her tomorrow inshaa'Allaah and get back to you. My cuz finished yr 12 a couple of yrs ago, and mashaa'Allaah is a brain, especially when it comes to maths. It certainly runs in the family

    You sad sad sad person

We used to play cricket in my methods class. Our teacher was sri lankan, we were all cricket freaks and he really really loved his cricket

I think our methods class was the worst out of 6 methods class in yr 12

lol you reminded me of my yr 12 maths teacher.. we spent our time in class trying to figure out if she woke up every morning to draw on her eyebrows.. or if she had got them tattooed on haha

Sheesh.. no wonder why my marks in maths plummeted lol
