shouldn't this thread be in the Eat Halal - Food & Recipes section.
Think not of those who were slain in the path of Allah as dead, Nay, they live finding their sustenance in the the presence of their Lord, they rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah; and regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), they rejoice

    assalamu 'alaikum,

I forgot the place. They do have their halal certificate at each place that would list who certified it though.

You can email them as well at their website and get more info.

I know that their bastings etc are all halal too.

    Assalam alaikum,

Not sure where original poster is from. As far as I am aware there are 3 Nando's stores in Brisbane/Gold Coast area. Two are definitely halal and are certified. The third I have heard is halal, but they don't have the certification so most muslims don't go there. I was told this by another muslim as I wondered why they didn't go to the one closer to their home. And the chicken here is supplied bt ABD. Saw the delivery being made and recognised the company as being one of main Brisbane halal chicken suppliers.

Plus doesn't it depend on who owns the restaurant? The one here that isn't certified is owned by a non-muslim, so I have been told. The other two were owned by same sister.

Box Hill is certified Halal and no bacon
The Prophet (SAAS) said that love for a fellow Muslim is an important aspect of iman. It helps to strengthen ties in the Muslim ummah (community) and prevent unnecessary division. To love a fellow muslim for Allah sake also helps to perfect our own iman.

At the start of the year there was a book full on Muslim Business' done by a Turkish Brother. It had a list of all the Nando's that are 'fully' halal.
I also saw the Ad up in a Masjid the other day.

Hmmm lol if you're talking about the Ummah Directory, it has a list of all the Nando stores in Victoria..and says that they all have hallal chicken..but it also states (in very small writing) that some stores have bacon on their menu too..

So I guess you gotta check the menu before purchasing to see if they sell bacon or not..

I believe they will have a website up soon insha'Allah. Maybe Br. Abu Dujana (who runs it and is a member of this forum) can let us know insha'Allah.

Are all Baida products halal? I have seen these in Coles but there is no Halal mentioned on the packaging? I sent them an email but have had no reply.

Assalaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

    In Sydney...

to my knowledge, the Brighton le Sands store is halal (My brother in law knows the guys who own/run it, and I have spoken to the brothers myself). Also, the store on Parramatta Road next to a BP service station is also halal(Note: there are two on Parramatta road situated next to a BP service station. The halal store is the one closest to Sydney University/Broadway. Just outside the city). The halal store on Parramatta road is owned and run by family friends. Alhamdulillah, I trust it.

As for the other stores in Sydney... I have no knowledge regarding them.

    And Allah knows best
