Well! I thought i saw a beautiful dream today. I saw myself talking to our beloved prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam), and i was kissing his hands and hugging him. I didn't see his face though. I was very happy in the dream and very emotional.
THEN, all of a sudden, i looked up, and i was hugging my father instead
I didn't see the prophet after that. I'm not even sure if it really was him(sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam)
But it still felt really good when i woke up anyway

Bismillaah...

Highlight of my day; Listening to Br.AbuHamzah's talk on paltalk. He was going through the tafseer of Surat Al-Adiyaat and when he reached this ayah...
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
''And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds)'' (100:7)
.... he went on to explain how man is a witness to himself to the fact that he is ungrateful and how certain body parts will speak for us. He also used a verse from Surat Ya-Seen....
''That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did''
-Al-Qur'an, 36.65 (Ya-Seen)
SebhunaAllaah how mankind is so ungrateful (note to self)
“The parable of those who disbelieve is as the parable of one who calls; but they hear nothing, except a call and a cry. Deaf, dumb and blind, so they understand not”.2:171

and enjoying cooking some new recipes I was given yesterday (yum
)
. but the highlight as always is spending time learning .. I have spent the weekend re listening to the "Explanation of the TWO Shadhadas" by Yasir Qadhi.. masha Allah and being around fellow muslims and just ppreciating over and over, how much we have to be thankful for in being part of the Ummah. (even if the internet is my major means of communicating with everyone.. subhanAllah)

This sounds small but it is big to me lol
My sons in a routine of sleeping in his cot whnever he sleeps mashallah. It's great coz he lovvvveees his bed and makes life easier for me lol
However sometimes I miss cuddling up with him and going to sleep together...he never does it anymore
Tonight he was really upset for whatever reason possibly overtired so I took him into my bed and he snuggled up in my arms and slepppttt mashallah...
I was like awww my baby....so sweet (sometimes hehe)
Alhamdullilah for motherhood man..it is the BEST feeling any girl can have. Honestly, nothing tops being a mum...it can be hard at times and a big test but NOTHING beats it. I am just looking at my son and feeling sooo blessed and so lucky to have him.Alhamdullilah...May Allah protect him and all the kiddies always. Ameen.

I had a lowlight yesterday...
Heard a noise that sounded like a gunshot outside at 2am, so I got up to check what it was.
Upon getting outside I found that some scumbags had smashed the driver's side window of my brothers car. We're not sure if they had planned to steal something but took off when the noise was so loud, or if they had nothing better to do than smash someon'es car window... Lowlifes...
I drove around for a while hoping to find them but gave up after a while. I sure wish I'd have found them. That's all I'll say.Il futuro appartiene all'Islam

wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
I have three cats who stay out in the backyard and don't come inside, unless the door is open, but even then they only sneak in for like maybe 10 seconds and then get out. Their worst nightmare is when the door shuts behind em and they can't get out.
Well, today the wind was blowing really hard as you may know and when Scratchy was standing inside my house near the backyard door the wind blew the door shut and he was stuck inside the house. He started making weird noises lol and I thought the door shut on his tail so I got really scared but it wasn't
then! scratchy was freaking out so bad he was running around like a headless chicken, he didn't know what to do , you had to see him! omg there's a window next to the door and he thought he could escape but u can't escape from that window coz it's blocked and there's a lil curtain covering it anyway.
He jumps onto the laundry sink (this is hilarious) and tries to escape outta the window, takes a leap onto the curtain and all u see is this FAT cat with sharp claws stuck onto the curtain, i'm standing there not knowing how to react, i thought if i pull him off the curtain it would rip and he'd probably scratch the hell outta me, i finally opened the door and he got out.
You had to be there. The funniest part is that he's fat and he was jumping around lol it was good excercise for him i swear.
I didn't see him after that. He's so fluffy

my highlight was not that interesting... but here it goes nonetheless... my grandma is at my uncle's place... and my dad was finding it too expensive to contact her thru normal fone line (international calls cost $$$)... granny has trouble going upstairs (which is where the PCs are)... and hence PC 2 PC talking was difficult... so i had to get a wireless headset for her for under 30 bux... problem is... u dont get one for that cheap (they come for around 90 bux or so)... so i improvised... and bought a $26 cordless fone off the net... made a circuit to connect it to pc... problem is... i was having issues with the extremely thin phone wires breaking off the circuit... etc... anyway... long story short... i solved all the problems... and tested the circuit today... and voila... it works perfect
alhamdullilah
now granny can talk for as long as she wants... PC 2 PC is free and hence $$$ saved off international calls
necessity is the mother of all inventions eh?

I miss riz eb halib! my mum used to make it all the time, but if I try to make it now I doubt it will work out, I could hardly make shurbat bil 3adas lol.
I dont have anything significant to add, Alhumdulilah for everything in my life and all that I have been blessed with, thats enough
