The words "try" "sleep" "missed" "wait" "learnt" "didn't know" etc can NOT be used for Allah 3azza wa jall. Creation like us who are not sure of the outcome of an action "try" to achieve something.
Some metaphors are allowed as were used by the Prophetlike for example, Allah "laughing" at a slave is used in hadith and refers to His showing mercy. Your intention was probably to use it in a metaphorical sense, but we need a little higher level of consciousness when talking about Allah. Jazak Allah.

I was waiting for my train and this sister approached me and gave me a magazine called "Al Jumuah" to read and pass onto someone else to benefit from it. Alhamdulilah it was a great read. May Allah swt reward her for it as she shared some useful knowledge alhamdulilah. If you can get your hands on it do so, as it has some great articles in there.

Alhumdulillah i finally got moving and secured my son's booster seat. I don't know how they sell those things without any way to secure them to the actual car like they do with baby seats. Kids move and wriggle around alot, so does the booster seat and it slips out from underneath them and isn't secure at all.
I went to Bunnings to see what i can use and bought a Buckle Tie Down for about $6. I bought the shortest one they had which i think was 3.6m. I drilled two holes in the back of the plastic booster seat and then used the drill to expand each opening. I threaded what i bought in one hole and out the other, then through the anchor bolt in the car which they use for the kid's car seats. Finally i secured it with the buckle.
Now that the seat is secure, i wonder what i can do to keep it's occupant wriggle free

I teach at a weekend school. And one of my classes is the prep class. There is this little boy and he is so cute masha'Allah. Anyway, we were discussing the story of Prophet Adam (alayhissalaam) and I was trying to convey the concept of him (as) and his wife (as) as our father and mother and we are their children/grandchildren to them. So I drew a diagram (using stick figures). However, because of my not-so-good artistic talent, one of the twig hands on Adam was long and the other was short.
The boy jumps up and starts stressing and I'm thinking, oh my God, what's wrong?? He goes, '3immaaami fatmi!!! layki eed el zalmi aseeri!!' (Aunty Fatima! Look! the man's hand is short!!!)
lol
it was so cute and so funny but alhamdulillah he relaxed and sat back down when i made it longer!
Everytime i remember the look on his face, i have a chuckle. Masha'Allah may Allah SWT protect him.

A Sister I know as a pious person has FULLY recovered from an illness that was said to leave her either scarred, or dead.
If this is not my highlight of the day, then, I do not know what is!

SourceMy twin boys were severely burnt in a garage fire.
Make du`aa that the one that survived recovers a complete recovery.
