It's depressing to see the sad and sorry state of our Ummah right now
and all that's happening in lebanon... Subhanallah, the bombings on sunday in Abu Samra were quite a shock.

May Allah SWT ease the pain of all those afflicted by this situation. Aameen.

Rather than this turning into a depressing thread, how about after every affliction, you also include what measures you took/are taking to help rectify it.

    as-salaamu'alaikum,
the end of the day is so low for many of us
needing to put our head to rest
knowing that we are unable to do anymore good deeds for the day
and then thinking about how little we actually may of done during the day
did we or didn't we waste this day Allah has blessed us with?

Mine may be if Anthony Rocca gets suspended at the tribunal tonight, the ferel Collingwood supporters (the ones with no teeth) will use this as an excuse if Hawthorn beats Collingwood on Sunday
Ibn Taymiyya (r) said: The Way of those Shuyukh of Tasawwuff is to call people to Allah's Divine Presence and obedience to the Prophet (Majma'a Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya, Dar ar-Rahmat, Cairo. Vol 11. Pg 497)

It wasn't at rawdat al zaytoon exactly.. it was like down the road.. there's a road around 100m long approximately and then buildings at the end of that road... Anyway doesnt matter... it was so sad Aameen to your dua.
Alot of people were still around despite it being summer holidays because a lot of roads are closed off to the villages. my aunty's house is next to ours and a lot of her glass was smashed and the water supply has gone over there too. May Allah make it easy for them all. Aameen

Just a quick question, whats the time difference between Australia and Makka time?

sorry to go offtopic, i did'nt want to start a new thread abt this. May Allah subhanahu wa ta3alah reward anyone that answers.
If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is gauranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire.

I'm not 100% sure sis, but it's maybe 6 or 7 hours difference. So it's probably around 12:15pm there now. I'll go make sure for you

As i was playing with my son, he somehow made contact under my jaw and consequently i cut my lip with my tooth. Alhumdulillah, not too much blood, but it's not the best place to get cut.
