Did anyone else catch this when it was in the cinema recently?
I just watched it on DVD.
A beautifully made film about two generations of a Bengali American family.
I'm not Indian, but there was so, so much that I related to.
A bit contrived at times, but distils the immigrant experience into an emotionally raw two hours that will make you want to call your parents.
Have a box of tissues handy - I cried at least four times.

Its a very realistic film that cuts across most nationalities and all immigrant families can relate too.
You are right about tissues part sis. I watched it on a flight back to Sydney, I was controlling my tears in vain!
