    assalamu 'alaikum,

Lately, I've found most talks to be a bit boring because they repeat on all the old topics (which is not in itself a bad thing - reminders are always excellent alhamdulillah), but finding these talks really interesting and learning alot more was an achievement alhamdulillah. They are extremely interesting, passionate and informative at the same time. It is a series of talks called "Legends of Islam" by Sh. Ahmad Jibril. In it he speaks of various people througout history (not from the salaf) who were great. What was really interesting was the amount of history you will learn in these talks about various people including people you may never have heard of (just like I had never heard of some of them).

The first talk I listened to is actually the last talk in the series on Saifuddeen Kuduz and then there is alot of talk of various people from the Uthmani Khalifah such as Muhammad al-Fatih, Abdul Hameed and others. Extremely interesting masha'Allah.

So I highly recommend it as I think you will find it interesting insha'Allah and learn more.

Here are the direct links to download the series of mp3s:

Scroll down to where it says Legends of Islam and download that set.

Maybe once people listen they can share what they learnt/benefited from and share it to encourage/educate the rest as well insha'Allah.

    jazakallah khair and enjoy!

    wassalamu 'alaikum

Think not of those who were slain in the path of Allah as dead, Nay, they live finding their sustenance in the the presence of their Lord, they rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah; and regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), they rejoice
