May Allaah grant your wife the shifaa and sabr needed to overcome this trial successfully, aameen.

May He, Subhanah grant the non-Muslim family member Eemaan, and allow them to embrace Islaam in a way pleaseing to Him, before it is too late, aameen!

And may He grant you sabr and understanding during this trying and difficult time, aameen.
My twin boys were severely burnt in a garage fire.

The doctors have told her to stay positive and they are hoping the treatment will work.

The sister is not letting this news phase her because she knows that her time was written before she even set foot on this earth.

Alhamdulillaah she was able to complete her Hajj in 2007 and she is amongst those who pray five times a day so she is asking people to make dua for her emaan and Islaam and that Allaah protects her from the punishment of the grave and admits her into Jannah.

We should continue supplicating for our sister, as well as all our brothers and sisters. Insha' Allah we can hear some good news soon

I also wanted to clarify the ruling on something I translated in this thread regarding tawassul using phrases such as 'by the status of the prophet - peace and blessings be upon him-). You can find the answer here insha' Allah.

The sister recently finished 6 weeks of Radio and Chemo and is now having a month off. After a scan she will start Chemo again for 6 months. It is aggressive brain cancer so a lot has to be done on the medical side.

As far as her Islam and Eman, jazaakumullaahu khayran for all those who are supporting her, she has been very strong through this trial.

She also says to not all restrict dua to her but encourages dua for the whole Ummah.

Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: When the Prophet (PBUH) visited any ailing member of his family, he would touch the sick person with his right hand and would supplicate: "Allahumma Rabban-nasi, adhhibil-ba'sa, washfi, Antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifaan la yughadiru saqaman "O Allah! the Rubb of mankind! Remove this disease and cure (him or her)! You are the Great Curer. There is no cure but through You, which leaves behind no disease].''[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Alhamdulillah. I have just heard from the family of the sister we are praying for. She has had another scan and got the latest results today. They asked me to pass this onto you all for your duas.

She is showing a slight increase in cancer cells, but this is a good sign as the tumour is very aggressive. A slight increase is a good sign. Alhamdulillah

She will commence 6 months of chemotherapy commencing tomorrow. She needs our duas.. as does her husband, her parents and her family as they go through this time together. May She be filled with emaan .. and with the remembrance of Allah. May Allah SWT give her sheefa and continue to heal her. Ameen

May her family know how to support her and to be what she needs through the trials of the next few months durning the next stage of her treatment. Ameen!!

    Tahoorun inshaaAllaah.

The Prophet said, (in the meaning):

When Allaah wills good for a person, He subjects them to adversity.
Al-Bukhaaree & Others. ( You know who you are for the Hadeeth )

May Allaah grant her and her family that which is best, and their ability to cope with what has happened, and what will happen, aameen.

She has been having tests this week because she has been vomiting each day and she is not suppose to be vomiting at all. They are checking to see if the cancer has moved to the stomach. She is in good Eemaan walhamdulillaah.

    By Allaah!

If they gave me the control of the Earth and the Sun, and they asked me to vomit, I couldn't bring myself to do so, I hate it so much!

May Allaah protect me from such a fate, aameen!

If it was for religious or health reasons, that is another story, even though, I would still reluctantly do it.

May Allaah grant her pain and suffering as a means to drop her sins like a tree that drops it leaves in the heart of autumn, and grant her a swift recovery, aameen, Allaahumma aameen, thumma aameen!!!

She saw the doctor Yesterday and he said that the chances of it moving to the stomach are very little. Thank you all for the support.
