forgive me if I have repeated a question already asked, but what happened to the school that was being built in somalia? Has it been finished? We never heard anything about it?

assalamu alaykum...
jazakAllahu khair for your question dear sister
I have tried to keep everyone updated..but organising the other projects I must have forgotten on aussiemuslims!
The school project is moving along alhumdolillah. We have decided on the literacy curriculum and bought it. We decided on using the Fitzroy readers program. http://www.fitzprog.com.au/ When I went to Somaliland, I took the entire program with me!
When I was in Somaliland last, we located a property we want to use for the school which has everything we need, At the time we asked, the property cost $100,000 alhumdolillah. I have attached two pictures for you to see.
To date Unity For Sisters has raised $36,000 for the school project, so we still have long way to go regarding raising funding for this project.
However we continue with our other projects which are important, also and may Allah swt accept from us...amiiin

OMGosh this is exactly the thing i want to start in Perth..lool, i was just talking about the idea to my friends..maybe you should make a branch here in Perth, that way we already have the basics and us girls will definitely be in it!!!! at the moment we only have two organizations which are running along well but are mixed, which stops the parents and most poeple from attending such events...
Will it be ok sis if i PM you to get sum ideas..i really want to do this!!!!
