It hurt him because its the game he loves to play. It hurts him even more that he felt that he handed the game to Nadal through his own mistakes.

Thinking about the game it reminded me of last year's AFL Grand Final between the Cats and the Hawks. Hawthorn should have been buried by half time, but it was Geelong's own errors that left the door open through inaccurate kicking at goal that enabled the Hawks to shine in the end.
