    Very true. There must be some sort of psychological reasoning for it, that relates to the informality of a written exchange with someone you can't see and have probably never met.

    I didn't say "all". I said based on my own personal experience. The "dude" in my avatar is Ustadth Yahya Rhodus (may Allah swt preserve him)

    Assalamu Alaikum Mods

    Can I please confirm which scholars this rule applies to, whether its for specific scholars or to all of them?

    Rule 5 - No slandering scholars

    The reason why I ask is that of late there have been attacks launched on specific Shuyukh which seem to have gone unnoticed. The same members keep making slanderous comments time and time again regarding them, calling them mushriks and takfiri's.
