Nah. I actually read your post before I read ayah81's post. I "stopped posting" in the thread because my conversation with 'your sister' had played out and ended nicely. I'm not even sure why ayah81 posted what they did, as everyone was generally posting on-topic, unless some posts were deleted that I am not aware of.
I know one thing for sure though, your post was totally useless. Not only did you add absolutely nothing to the discussion, but rather you decided to look down upon others with a post that goes against everything ayah81 posted, now that's ironic.
I also believe my initials posts in this thread were quite sensible and far from being "spewing condescending and derogatory comments" or "rude and annoying".
Oh well.
Let's be sensible.

yeh well i was just making a point, being a smarty pants after i said ''its funny how some people stopped posting after ayah's very justified complaint'', is just a display of ones own insecurities, opening an easily viewable window into the self consciousness one feels in their having a condescending and offensive forum manner masqueraded as normal conversation, which is what the topic was at the time for a short while. Now what warrants those insecurities is most likely known by the person themselves, but my guess is, its looking into the reflection of ones own self centered comments essenced by self indignation which gives it away.
The bottom line is, it's good to be nice and respectful of peoples opinions regardless of who they are, building a whole persona and character based on checking in on every thread thinking of something derogatory and downgrading to say is really overboard and suppressive, especially to other memebers genuine interests in discussions and topics. I think that, single statement from ayah was interpreted not only by myself, but by others (atleast for a little while) as a statement that could also be applied to many other instances in AM that's threads were unpleasant, having a general attitude of dropping in unecessary posts that are totally brain dead, boring and distractive to the topic essentially making it bland, deformed and extremely difficult to go back on to read, is a demeanor that is disconcerning to say the least. End of the discussion for me.How canst thou say to thy brother,Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

Thank you ayah, i think every one who is currently a member on this forum remembers the time they felt the exact same way you are feeling now regarding (having concern over the nature of threads and some peoples input in them), threads that sometimes contain very personal and offensive comments both directly and indirectly. You were absolutely right in your general statement, hopefully my taking that a little further makes things a little more unco and out there, if not then i can't say i didn't try to bring it up. Generally i don't think there is a single person who does not understand what is trying to be brought to attention here.
Its so discouraging seeing how people develop a culture of conversation that sneakily creeps in to the very nature of how people converse, typically we should give each other the benefit of the doubt, not developing into using trivial forms of suggestive comments masqueraded but underneath really being attempts to be offensive and derogatory, when you think about it properly, the thought of it being twisted and wrong can't escape you. This jusifiably should ring some bells, bells that say ''hey this is not only abnormal, but this is a totally destructive form of communication''.
This one girl once tried to sell a freaking hair dryer subhanAllah, and like 5 guys just ransacked her and shredded every little bit of dignity she felt she had in that simple attempt to sell a hair dryer, any one who remembers that should understand that, that is 'the culture' at its extremes.
Sometimes you need to be frank, and cruel to be kind in order to get the reminder through without being misunderstood. Now, unless people enjoy brain dead and predictable lines of discussion thats only accomplishment is to distract everyone from having a descent attempt at communicating their mutual interests in the topic itself? And its potential to evolve into an intellectual and interesting conversation? Then the behavior should be discouraged, and the culture should be replaced with decency and an appreciation of others views to the point of restraining comments and posts that are just plain unnecessary. How canst thou say to thy brother,Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
