    Assalamu Alaykom,

Just wondering if the Sydney Muslims could post some addresses/names/places in Sydney where I would go shopping for Abayas? I already know of a few however since my last visit I hear there a couple of new stores to keep an eye on. May Allah reward you all in advance, ameen.

I went to all of the stores in Lakemba...didn't find anything my age. They had nice designs but they're for older people...not someone in their teens

I was just at Boutique Noor Al Houda...I'm pretty sure this was her, it's at a triple storey house, not a store. I was in (L). I bought sooo many 'abayaat, they're soooo nice! I took all the small sizes (hehe) so you should hurry up cos masha'Allah it's pretty busy. If they're a little big she alters them on the spot. Beautiful designs.

I went to Veil of Faith (it was at her house), they had nice ones too. I bought a few. They have simple, modern designs and they have heaps of skirts too.

I went to several stores on Waterloo rd in Greenacre, they had really nice ones. The ones in Behind the Veil were reallllyy nice, I bought some too. They had this beautiful sister working masha'Allah she was really friendly. Most of them weren't my age but I found a few that had beautiful designs.

I have brought some samples of Silk Route Abayas from the UK in different lengths and sizes if anyone is interested. Im in Sydney. They're Urban Casual and you wont need to alter these if you get the right size. Getting a Slim size would mean you have to be a slim person. They are not made to be body tight. they come in different lengths and in regular and loose fitting too for medium and larger sized woman.

Im only in Sydney till mid Sept (after eid inshallah)

    Wasalaamz sister

So sorry to get back to you so late... I have had problems with my log in details and gave up. i thought i'd try again before I leave the country.

If you visit www.islamicdesignhouse.com then you will see the exact types of abayas I have with me and will be getting more of.

I am getting my final shipment on Monday inshallah - and just to add these are great for Summer. They're going like mad.
