I'm considering a career with them in the future just so I can have access to their pricing gun.

subhan'Allah I think the problem is not knowing whats on special. Maybe I should take pics and prices lol. Target's clearance stuff is generally not marked till a while after as it gets taken down by head office first and then the stores have to catch up.

There were lots of bedpacks in the past few weeks (queen/king size) scanning at $23 (originally 140/150/160). 300TC sheets were reduced. Lots of other quilt cover sets reduced too. Just need to scan them. Particularly look for anything marked with a price ending in .88/87/89/86 etc.

There was some breakfast sets (16 piece for 4) reduced in black stripes or red stripes or
    stripes.

There was a 12 person stanley rogers cultery set for $41.xx - originally around $140 or so. Style is called 'Parker'.

Lots of vases on special particularly the plain glass ones are around $5. A lot of the canvas pictures on special/frames. Lots of candle stuff on special - the longish plate type ones in particular with 3 or 4 candles and pebbles etc around $3.xx. Lots of photo frames (not for photos but i am planning to put other photos in it). Even door mats. lamps, lampshades.

Lots of kids sheets were reduced too - picked up quite a few girls bedsheets for $2.26 (originally $50), boys sheets ($4.68 originally $50), quilt cover sets (between $4-8). Got 7 piece bedpacks for girls and boys (called aaron and becca) now are scanning at $23 originally $120.

The girls bedsheets that are reduced names are - primrose, tutti frutti, britt.
boys bed sheets - dean stripe, marcus, sam (these two are in the teen home)
girls quilt cover - britt, tutti frutti
    boys quilt cover - atlas

They are all very nice quality sheets etc.

girls canvases and boys canvases - 3 piece - $2.xx - tutti frutti and can't remember the boys one but one of the canvas is a big star.

single air mattresses (great for holidays or sleepovers) - $6 originally around $40-50. Another air mattress with a built in sleeping bag and pump etc (originally $80 or so) - around $20. Great for kids or adults.

Those kids couches in toy story or cinderella that also looks or acts like a book are scanning around $20 now.

Black Oval Pedestal bin about a meter high, $8.xx
    Pizza stone $6.xx
Office set with rulers, stapler, holepunch, scissors and other things $3.xx - I see these everywhere. in the stationary section.

Little Men / Little Miss booksets - around $13.xx now if you can find them anywhere. Fantastic books and value - original sets were around $70. My daughter loves hers.

7 piece outdoor playset - originally probably well over $60-70. a hoola hoop, the slip n slide, 2 different sized balls, 2 lacrosse type rackets and someting else! scanning betwen $17-$23. Great just for the slip and slide in summer. found in sprots section. seen them everywhere too.

Smart Trike scooters and tricyles were also reduced. Fisher Price Frist Trike also reduced (the one with a parent handle etc).

Toy story 3 wheeler scooter with elbow pads / knee pads around $20.xx

Oh yeah digital cameras are on clearance too until Thursday with another 15% off. Got my mum one for $76.xx. Another style (olympus) scans around $47 - the difference between the two is that the 76 one also does video. 15mp little camera. Had a few other brands too.

Portable DVD players also reduced to clearance - anywhere between $35-39 for the pink/blue ones (barbe and toy story) and then there are the better ones for $60-80 like Teac etc.

Video Intercom Doorbell, marked at $39.xx no idea what they scanned at.
http://dicksmith.com.au/product/L610...ercom-doorbell. Like this one but White original.gif

School memory folder around $3.xx - great for kids starting school.

miniature board books that you attach to a pram (called buggy books i think) Peter Rabbit & Friends and Peppa Pig. $2.86

And a lot of the stuff in the 'big' toys section is worth checking if it looks like older stock. The prices are always wrong - I get someone to scan them for me if I can't carry them. For e.g. the toy story ramp and ride is scanning around $29.xx - originally $200+. Toy story 3 and disney princess cubby houses scanning $48.xx originally over $200. Little canopy cars - $27.xx

OK that's probably enough for now. I'll try to update when I come across them more regularly so you can get to them quicker if you are interested.

Faten I wish - I've been looking for it for ages now. I regret not buying it even when it was $27.xx. It has over 40 books in it too. I didn't realise how much Maryam was going to love the Little Miss books. If I come across it will let you know.

    Um, ok, maybe not.

Did you go to the one in the city? I'll be heading down in the next couple of days, and if you haven't checked that one, I can pop in.

I did and nothing there when I looked but well worth a look if you are in the area as they do bring out stuff out the back once in a while.

BTW Faten not sure if they are still open as they were closing down but Go-lo in Broady was closing down and they had plain canvases in different sizes reduced to clear - thought you might be interested. Also had some paints but wasn't much left as the place was a humungous mess. And other craft stuff.

We may go to the Fountain Gate Target store tomorrow morning inshaAllah.

    Jazakillahu Khayr for the reminder.

Also, all your specials listed above were found in Target yeah? I know, it may not still be available, but worth a look if that's the case inshaAllah.

I managed to get one from a lady who found me on in QLD. Unfortunately only one there randomly. I can pretty much guarantee that most stores you go to will no longer have them. If anyone I know comes across one will let you know.

I've gotten so many bargains alhamdulillah but can't remember most of them. And most of them will be gone for now but there are still some bargains floating around in the bedding area esp the kids sheets. If anyone needs help finding some am happy to keep an eye out just let me know what you are after.

DFO in South Wharf have opened up a bookshop where Borders used to be. They currently have all books in store for $5. I bought a few Women's Weekly cookbooks, and another cookbook for babies and toddler food for a friend. The latter book we had seen at Borders a few weeks ago for ~$20, discounted from ~$40!

There's not a lot of new releases, but they do get new stock in on a weekly basis.

More Angus and Robertson closing down and also Borders. Around 70-85% off at both stores. Got a cookbook for my SIL at Borders from $39 to $7.

If any of you sisters need something from Dandenong/Fountain Gate stores, PM me and I can bring them down on Wednesday inshaAllah if the stores have them in stock.

For the blokes, the Adidas stores in Smith St Collingwood and South Wharf DFO (not sure if the other stores have the same sale on, but they should) have tracksuit pants in sizes S-XXL for $25. If you check in on FB from now until the end of the month, you'll receive a further $10 off when you spend $50 or more. Their great quality too, can't go wrong.

Also, Myer has a further 50% off already reduced prices of selected children's wear. I wouldn't be surprised if you find the same sort of sale in other areas of the store. Definitely worth checking out if you still haven't bought your kids their Eid clothes. Lots of awesome bargains, and again, the quality of the clothing is better value for money than you can hope for.

Target has 20% off kids/baby clothes, I don't know when it ends though.
Also Big W has a kids sale at the moment as well.
