For those who are having babies soon.. Kmart in Barkley Square has yellow bonds singlets for 25c (they only have size 0000.. Perfect for newborns). The singlets normally retail at just over $3.

I went past DFO today and noticed this store that sells kitchen appliances and really amazing prices. They had absolutely everything you would ever need in a kitchen and at 50%-75% the prices elsewhere: try only have the good brands like Stanley Rogers, Wiltshire, Tefal, etc.
I got a few things and compared the exact items to the appliance store across the road.

Was $40 at the other store, got it for $10.

Seen these for about 15-25$, got it for $5

These are usually 20-25$ each, but got them for $5.95 each. I bought a Wiltshire Chefs knife from Coles last week for $20 and saw the exact same one for $4!! I got so cut lol
Sorry knives excite me."...The eyes are filled with tears and the heart is full of grief but we do not say anything except that which is pleasing to our lord.."

I havent used it yet, but you remove the steel handles and put the stone in the oven by itself. Once it warms up you put the pizza on and put it back in to cook. Then if you wanna heat up cold pizza you just heat the stone and put the pizza on top so that you dont have a soggy base :]

It also cooks the pizza base from the bottom which is reality hard in a traditional oven. Anyway the place had so many cool things at great prices and so much stock. Highly recommended for newly weds or people wanting some new cookware/kitchenware

I have that pizza stone.
I recommend flouring the stone before you put the uncooked pizza on as otherwise it will stick to the stone.
Also, the stone was stained with tomato sauce from the pizza and it really hasn't come off.
Otherwise, pretty cool pizza stone.

im thinking of getting some for my mum but the thing is that i know she will think they are too cool to use and she will just stick to her old pans.

lol yes. Or it will stick :P You should put your oven on the hottest setting and let the stone sit in it for at least 15-30 minutes. Then you can flour it f you want and put the pizza on it.

I heated mine up for what seemed over 30 mins because I was still kneading out the dough and had to prepare toppings.
I believe the problem lies in the oven because it's quite old, perhaps it takes more time to heat up.
