    assalamy alaykum dear brothers/sisters,

I'm in such a dilema! I need to make some sort of decision, which I can not disclose due to certain reasons, but I'm so confused as in what to do/decide. Have been making lots of dua, prayed the guidance prayer, trying to consult my heart, but still, I'm so confused and dont know what decision to make, and it has to be made very soon. Can you please make dua that Allah s.t. guides me to that which is good for me, give me some kind of signs or whatever so that in the end He is pleased with me, which is the most important thing to me.I need a way out of this situation, but dont know what path to take

    thank you all!

Walaikum salaam wa rahamtullahi wa barakatuh

Sometimes, we need to ask ourselves if the thing we're asking for guidance from Allah for is actually something that is not pleasing to Him or haram. I don't know your situation, but I just wanted to mention it. Sometimes, we already know the answer, but we don't want to accept it, and we hope that Allah (swt) will find a different way for us. BUT if you just do the right thing, He will find a way out for you....from places you never expected. May Allah (swt) make this decision easy for you, and guide your heart and purify your intention.
When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you.
When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."

may Allah guide you to what's best for you in this life and in the Hereafter....

in regards to the guidance prayer, insha'Allah you'd find an answer when you decide on one of the options and go for it.

it's prayed after the decision is made and not made to choose between two options.

so you take the decision and go for it, and then pray.

if things go easy then it's bless insha'Allah.

if things don't work well then change your decision.

generally this is how it works.

May Allah make it easy for you sister.

Take the easy path. If there is too much confusion around one option, even though it seemed to be what was wanted, it is probably not right for you.

Just keep asking from Allah (swt), if you are sincere, the outcome will benefit you greatly even if it doesn't seem like it to begin with.

    assalamu alaykum sister,

This is a dua you may like to make.

‘O Allaah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You name Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety.’

May Allah SWT enable you to make the decision that pleases Him most.
