I have to memorize Surah Al-Haaqah by tomorrow and I'm only sure about the first 24 verses. Got any ideas?

keep listening to it on audio and learn the meaning of the verses after so that you know what should come next (since you understand a bit of Arabic right?) Verse 25 says "wa amma man outiya kitabahu bi shimalihi fa yaqoolu ya laytani lam outa kitaabiya" "As for him whose record is given in his left hand, he will say: "Would that I had not been given my record"

verse 25 - 37 is about the evil doer and what will be his fate in the Hereafter

then 37 to the end of the Surah is related to the Qur'an that it is the truth and it is protected.

See in Psychology last year they taught us the best way to memorise is to associate meaning to what you learn, it is more effective than mere rote learning. However, with the Qur'an even just replaying it all the time, it will stick in your head because of the style of its verses.

Jazakumullah khayr sister Fatima. Our teacher gave us 4 weeks to memorize the Surah applying the correct tajweed and everything and of course I left it to the last minute :P I agree the best way to memorize is learning the meaning. Pretty much any verse I've rote learned without the meaning I've forgotten. Alhamdulillah half the class didnt turn up so the test is postponed till next week! Too bad I stayed up half the night memorizing till verse 43. 44 to 52 wouldn't stick. InshaAllah next week thursday night l won't be sitting until morning memorize 44 to 52 :P
