Taken is an AWESOME movie! (Why was the post deleted )

    When I saw this:

I knew I had to watch it!

It does have some dubious scenes in it... however, in retrospect, if anyone asked me to make a movie night and to watch Taken, I would accept within a heartbeat!

    9.5/10

Undisputed 2 is an excellent movie (wouldn't recommend sisters watching it)

Liam Neeson is so good. I love Schindler's List. He played as Oskar in it and he did a very good job.

'taken' was good, gets two thumbs up from me and one big toe.

unfortunately the crime that happens in the movie actually happens, which adds an extra kind of realism to the movie.

the relatively down to earth but gritty nature of the story and action (considering neeson's previous occupation in the film) really made it decent to watch, no ridiculous gadgets or bottomless ammo weapons that just keep on shooting.

the car driving was a bit unreal though, but because there wasn't a lot ill let them off, especially after noting the onscreen justice that came to 'marco from petroija' (just guessing the spelling), mr saintclair and those filthy crooks at the end.

    second that

Loved "Life is beautiful". It's a Italian movie and won oscars in the foreign film category(1999).

Lost king of scotland. Forest Whitaker acting was just superb.

I cant remember to detail, so I cant pass any warning for undesirable scenes in those movies.

Watched Gran Tornio last week, it was brilliant...

BTW how do i get access to brother's section.

Adam Sandler's movie, Click is an awesome movie!

    I give it a 10/10 hands down!

One of the summaries has this:

On the surface, Michael Newman seems to have it all, yet with all the demands forced upon him by his ungrateful boss Ammer, Michael finds that setting aside time to spend with his loving wife, Donna, and two picture-perfect children, Ben and Samantha, has grown increasingly difficult. When a frustrating bout with the television remote leads the overworked husband and father to a nearby Bed, Bath & Beyond in search of a universal remote with the power to control all of his electronic devices, a curious peek into the back room leads Michael into the company of eccentric employee and talented inventor Morty. It seems that Morty has created a device that will not only allow Michael complete control over his television and stereo, but his entire life as well. As Michael discovers that the remarkable device has the power to muffle the barks of the family dog, zoom himself past an irritating quarrel with his wife, and even allow him to travel back and forth through time to different points in his life, the rush of being able to skip straight to the good parts in life soon leaves him feeling as if he's missing out on the total experience. Only when Michael begins to realize that the he has lost control of his life and the remote is now programming him does he finally learn that life is as much about the moments he'd rather forget as it is the moments he will always remember.

A scene that always has me in tears is when he realises his father has passed away, and "rewinds" to that part, only to see what a dork he was...

I ask Allaah `Azza wa Jall to make us better children to our parents, aameen.

La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful) has to be one of the best films ever made.. How it manages to roll so easily from being a fun comedy to such an emotional drama is a great effort. Roberto Begnini does a great job in the role of Guido in the film. As far as I recall there is little to no objectionable scenes, but a lot of background music.

EMPIRE magazine has just released the verdict on what's been voted as the worst movie of all time.

It's George Clooney’s comic book adventure Batman And Robin even though the actor, a former Oscar-nominee, is tipped to be in the running for a Best Actor trophy for his role in Up in the Air.

The 1997 Batman and Robin, co-starring Chris O’Donnell and Uma Thurman, cost $US140 million ($158.5 million) to make and was blamed for almost killing off the Batman film franchise, The Sun reports.

Voters in the magazine poll slammed the film for its anatomically-correct Batsuits and an "overblown" script.

An Empire Magazine spokesman said, "It has become a byword for franchise-killing and bad movie-making."

The film got almost three times as many votes as the next entry, John Travolta’s sci-fi flick Battlefield Earth.

And Austin Powers funnyman Mike Myers’ comedy The Love Guru came in third place
