Whoever remembers death often will find a small amount (of worldly things) sufficient for him; and whoever includes his speech in his deeds will speak little.
Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful. (Surat al Isra': 27)

Dude, I went out of my way to make a peace offering in your own language! Accept it and move on.
Back to movies...Has anyone seen Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'? That's really a classic. The one who is (truly) imprisoned is the one whose heart is imprisoned from Allah and the captivated one is the one whose desires have enslaved him. Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullah)

PD is it scary? like thriller scary? I've heard of it a lot, especially in year 12 for some reason, but I never went out and hired it in case it's scary...

Sister - I don't know...movies don't usually scare me at all regardless of how "scary" they're meant to be.
I found it entertaining, and a bit funny. The one who is (truly) imprisoned is the one whose heart is imprisoned from Allah and the captivated one is the one whose desires have enslaved him. Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullah)

My Sister's Keeper was a good movie. a real tear-jerker. also a reasonably good reminder of death

Ibn Taymiyya (r) said: The Way of those Shuyukh of Tasawwuff is to call people to Allah's Divine Presence and obedience to the Prophet (Majma'a Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya, Dar ar-Rahmat, Cairo. Vol 11. Pg 497)

OMG *yawns* anyone that likes sci fi has zero credibility giving movie reviews in my books. Your in a whole new league of ridiculously nerdy.
