I VERY nearly bought the Game of Thorns book today while waiting for my flight. But wasnt sure if it had 'icky' stuff in it like the show. Does anyone know?
They also had Wheels of Times but only books One and then 12 and 13. Idiots.
Also nearly bought the Hunger games books. Then reminded myself that I was student-broke. Then it was time to board the plane. Then I fell asleep. Then I came home and started lurking on Aussimuslims to avoid addressing real world issues.
Then I went to sleep? No, I tweeeted, and THEN went to sleep.
I think.
The End

Yeah, stay away from A Song of Ice and Fire books...

Agree whole heartedly with the advice to NOT watch the movie for Kite Runner. If it wasn't for the fact that I had read the book and was giving dh a running commentary to fill him in on the missing and most crucial bits of information the movie would be absolutely senseless.

Just watched Inception...good movie up until the very end...I hope that stupid tiny little thing stopped spinning because the movie would be very stupid and pointless if it didn't.
But yeah, really cool concept. Similar to Shutter Island in some ways.....both very suspenseful and super interesting.Whoever remembers death often will find a small amount (of worldly things) sufficient for him; and whoever includes his speech in his deeds will speak little.

Two men (i.e. my brother and my husband) went to hire out a dvd, they come back with.....
Tangled.
I've seen it at the cinemas (don't ask why) and it's a very girly movie, even for me.
I was very surprised they brought it home lol.
Dh's explanation: "I thought you'd like it".
Very sweet, but yeah....nah.
They've gone back to swap it for The Corpse Bride.

Why would you pay for the accumulative sins after repenting?
Anyway, Corpse Bride was a cool movie I liked it
. NRaf thought it was weird, but as my brother said, he's just not used to Tim Burton.
I liked how all the events unfolded in the movie, very to my liking indeed.Whoever remembers death often will find a small amount (of worldly things) sufficient for him; and whoever includes his speech in his deeds will speak little.

Not illegal to have weddings without cakes
. I'm sure lots of people have had it like that, really nothing wrong with it.

When I say weird, I mean I hated the movie and found it very disturbing... Nothing to do with not being used to Tim Burton - it wasn't my taste and never will be. I've never had a thing for things skeletal.

SisDot I love tangled!!! I can watch it over again and again..
I watch Avengers, missed the first 10 mins of it, T'was good but I thought it would be better considering what people were saying about it?
Hunger Games better be as good as it claims to be..Religion is all about moral character; therefore, whoever beats you in character beats you in religion."
