I need to get sandbags urgently to try and stop any flooding at work. Does anyone know where to get them? I've already tried bunnings, and looked at the SES website....but nothing yet.

Hmmm....its easier not to go there. The council is fighting with the body corporate and both refuse to take responsibility. Meanwhile, I'd just like to make sure we don't flood again.

Sis did you speak to your neighbour to see what they were doing to combat flooding on their premises??

sister you dont buy sandbags as bags of sand (well you could from a garden centre i guess but that would be expensive), you buy the bags (jute bags should be less than .60 each, or get all the people you know to save there 5-10 kg rice bags (just thought of that-genius)), then you need a pile of reasonably fine sand (beach perhaps), then fill the bags to a manageable weight, then you have sandbags.
once you have have them kindly ask the SES to demo how to set them up.
O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Quick Taker of the accounts, defeat the confederates. O Allah, Defeat them and shake them
