Assalaam Alaikum,
Al-Ghazzali Centre has been facilitating an ecological regeneration project along Cooks River in Croydon Park (near Campsie) in collaboration with Canterbury City Council for the past three years. The project has been extremely successful, and photos of the progress can be viewed at http://alghazzali.org/gallery.php?event=cooks-rvr.
Due to the extensive nature of the works, we urgently need more volunteers to assist in maintaining the existing plants and developing the Cooks River embankment further. I urge and invite you and your friends to please join the volunteers once a month in helping with the efforts. Extra hands together will make the work easier, and fun! And we need every bit of help, please!
The next day for activity insha Allah will be 3rd April, from 9.30am – 12pm.
Also, please register your interest for ongoing support and assistance for this program, by registering at http://alghazzali.org/register/cooks_river. We will then be able to send you reminders and updates of the progress of this project.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to your assistance for the upcoming months.
Was Salaam
