Exactly. Last time you had it, it was chewy. The next time it might be good. What's chewy for you may not be for others. A batch of meat may be different each time as well. It's all subjective, which is why the question [and answer] really have no benefit.

sis no offence, but daym your complicated loll
If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is gauranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire.

Just letting you guys know that due to the brother's costs of supplies increasing, there will be a price increase on the main meals, pasta, burgers and salads in a couple of days time.

Cake and coffee special will also be going up, so make the most of it

And before anyone starts whingeing again, just remember what this brother charges for a meal, you will struggle to pay for a single entree in the inner city.

But yeah if you still find you're not getting your money's worth, I can recommend a number of pasta places in Lygon Street where you can happily get a good portion but expect to pay no less than $25.00 for a main of pasta. And then if you're keen on having a salad too, get ready to fork out another $8.00 or so.

Lol your so cute with your defensiveness T.P
It was to be expected the prices would go up, it was too cheap, and it is after all a buisness. (Also, vegies have become SO expensive so it is unavoidable and expect it everywhere!)

CVM I know the brother, he's just really lovely mashaAllah and seems to have a really good heart. I will always defend someone -- irrespective of whether I know them personally -- when they're *trying* to implement their Deen into *all* facets of their life. Everyone can grow a beard, everyone can show up at a Masjid and look pious, but if you're going that extra yard and trying to service your community, then you get a huge pat on the back from me. Well, not literally or his wife would kill me

The brother is a hard worker mashAllah, has a beautiful wife (her heart included) and children mashaAllah and for that reason I think we should be more supportive of him and his endeavours.

And gosh if he still won't shout me a free Lasagna after this, I'm so gonna boycott this bad a$$!

Hasn't the price of vegies been affected by the floods etc? Some of the vegies I see @ the supermarket seem ridiculous.

Most definitely Fatima. I saw it on the News. Veggies, even live-stock like lamb etc. Bananas have already risen and will go as high as $15.00 a kilo I heard. There goes eating bananas for the next year unless you go the import route.

    Yes.

Forgot to add that Entrees are going up as well.
