    Sure do.
Enter vehicle, or other modes of transport. Make way to Thomastowj Kebab Station. Ask for one small capsicum dip container I've had it before homemade etc but it can't compare to their one mashaAllaah

The best dips ive tasted by far are the home made ones from middle eastern restaraunt. Their humous and Bahamas ghannouge dip are the best.

Najah, every person I know who's been there has gotten food poisoning. No one is safe!! Mum and wife both make homemade eggplant dip but me no likey eggplant!

Last night the wifey (may Allaah reward her) made a really good lasagna mashaAllaah served a homemade garlic and herb foccocia with melted Mozarella cheese on too and a nice balsamic garden salad.

CU: Stupid auto correct on my phone! lol...he maybe its a new dip someone could make.

Khaled: I've eaten from there heaps of times in the past, and always been good, but then again once I ate Surf n Turf from HIYC and I got food poisioning! So its your luck I guess.

I made baked potatoes last night with, garlic butter, cheese, peas and corn, baby spinach, mushrooms, beef bacon, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce on top. Was nice MashaAllah.

If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is gauranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire.

speaking of mjadra (lentils and wheat grains), there was this rich and famous man in Lebanon whose family was renowned for their brand of chewies - Ghandour..

The man's sister was married to a mere farmer who lived a humble life and would eat simple food like mjadra. Once Ghandour passed by his brother-in-law the farmer and saw him eating mjadra and he got so jealous. He said to his brother in law "I wish I could eat what you're eating". His brother in law replied why can't you? Ghandour said "Whatever I eat causes me pain". He was limited to certain foods and in his sickness could appreciate the blessings of something so plain as mjadra. His family is well-known and rich but at the end of the day he would give that all up for his health.

And thread hijacked but I remember that story every time I hear about mjadra coz the farmer's son was my old busdriver and he told me that story =)

    I'm having that tomorrow inshaAllaah

Tonight went to a Syrian restaurant on Rathdowne St in Carlton called Cafe Zum Zum. Food was awesome mashaAllaah. One of the best (and most expensive) restaurants I've ever been to.

For entrees had 4 dips; the best homus, labneh, eggplant and a tomato and chilli dip with pine nuts and also some of those small sausages with a spicy potato salad. MashaAllaah best dips I've ever had.

For mains we had Chicken Tawouk served with a garlic dip (toom). It had a really velvety texture mashaAllaah. And also had some lamb kofta skewers in a tomato and aubergine sauce which you pretty much had to pull away from me mashaAllaah! Both served with rice. I still can't move

They have a really good menu. Last time I had fish of the day and some selek. Might try the zaa'tar calamari and the Moroccan lamb next time inshaAllaah
