Made Jamie Oliver's "Perfect roast chicken", taken from Ministry of Food (recipe available here) and raw kale & avocado salad.

For dessert, Vitamin C rich fruit salad. Made the recipe up.

The chicken came out reeeeeeeally tender and juicy mashaAllah, like literally as I was cutting it the juice was just flowing out. While I didn't mind it tender and juicy, dh and my brother said they'd have preferred it left in the oven for a bit longer (so maybe 20 or so mins more).

The fruit salad was nice but too acidic so next time I make it inshaAllah I'll add some honey to balance out the flavours. Went down well with a cup of peppermint tea alhamdulillah.

Kale is a green leafy vegetable (from the same family as broccoli / cabbage etc) - very healthy and nutritious. Really good for you!

Not many fruit n veg places sell it, guess it's not really on demand as much as other vegies. Very high in Vitamin C and tastes good when massaged in olive oil. Mmmmm <3.

I have an asian grocer opening up about 10 mins away from me, but I have a fruit n veg shop that has heaps of different stuff I can get, maybe if I came accross it if I happen to be at a shop that sells it then I would try it, but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

I hope it turns out good cheesegirl! It looks easy too. I'll let u know how it goes InshaAllah.

Our green grocers here have kale Alhamdulilah. Sometimes it's at the back and I have to ask for it, but they usually have it.

Wat kind of chicken do u have? Fillets, thighs if roast pieces? U can make snitzels or roast pieces in oven. You can bake the carrots in there too. add whatever seasoning u have, of a big of butter and garlic and add some salt and pepper. Do u have some red onion? U could mix some tomatoes, red onions and 4 bean mix add some olive oil, lemon juice and some salt.
