I copied it off an Egyptian style. I basically get mince meat, fry it, mix in pasta sauce till heated, then in a baking dish put 300-500g penne or similar pasta cooked then mix thoroughly. Put bechamel sauce on top, shredded cheese all over top, bake for 1 hour on 200

Chicken soup, rice with corn in it (usually put diced up chicken and carrot too but since there's chicken on the menu didn't) and left overs from yesterday.

last night for dinner i invited my husbands brothers and their wives over for dinner.

    i made:

    kibbeh nayeh
    home made fried chips
2 whole oven roast chickens with lots of veggies (pumpkin, carrots and pot)
fried eggplant coated in flour and egg
    yellow rice
    cheese pastries
    and off course garlic/lemon/oil dip

    for desert
Banoffi pie and a cake from cheesecake shop and then tea last

    on Todays menu

    LEFTOVERS

haha was so cute our neighbours cat was really hungry and i had ran out of tuna and cat food and my fridge had no leftovers or anything (yes it only eats at my house) so it waited patiently for hours outside my kitchen door and watched me cook and it got lots of food hehe. its so cute i love this cat!!
If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is gauranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire.

CuE looks yummy. What's in it?

Sarah sounds yum. And I love leftovers. That's the best part about having people over the next day you are too tired to cook so the leftovers are great

lol i dunno if you want my particular recipe

    Umm leme remember

mince, chuck in bowl, add half one finely diced onion, diced parsley, cumin, allspice, salt n pepper, bit of mixed herbs, (if i have red caps sometimes will put a tablespoon or so of diced capsicum too) knead and when all mixed ball up into kafta balls

Add oil in pot, add the rest of the diced up onion (some people don't do this) till translucent chuck in kafta, while they are browning chop up some potatoes, chuck them in too, mix around a little for everything to be coated in the juices, chuck in a can of diced tomato, 1 and a half cups of water, cumin, allspice, salt pepper, bit of soy sauce and let it simmer away like nobodies business for an hour or till you like the consistency and taste of the sauce (I am generous with the cumin like the taste)

make rice next to it, and that is all.. from memory..
