wow i am so happy to find this Australian Muslim forum. well about my intro i am from pakistan and waiting for my PR Visa. i am planning to move sdyney bcz my sister and BIL lives in Mount Druit.
ok y i join...one reason maybe i want bit guidance from u ppl bcz i am totally unaware about the atmosphere there. so iam bit confused about my decision about JOB and Marriage. u know mostly in this age we have only these 2 pbms.LOL
About Job right now i have in mind that i dont want to continue long run career there bcz i dont like un-islamic atmosphere. also i think may be my beard, salat, and islamic outlook make pbm in job, so can u please tell how much i earn if i do ordinary jobs.....? and dont pursue for my career as electrical engineer. i am thinking if i can earn upto 3-4K AUD by this work, i work for a year or so and then move back to Pakistan and start some business. what did u say about this..?

anyway i hope u will welcome me here...lol

Welcome to the forum brother, and may you benefit from your time here.

Please don't even think to compromise any part of your religion to fit in here (ie: remove your beard). I have learnt that if you stand firm, Allah (swt) will provide. Insha'Allah you won't have any problems finding suitable work, and you may even be able to pursue your electrical engineering work. May Allah (swt) make everything easy for you.
When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you.
When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."
