    UPDATE:

    Asalamu ‘Alaykuum,

Do you have somebody special in your life (in the halal way)? Or do you have a long lost friend who you haven’t seen for awhile? Or do you just feel like gifting a gift to somebody that you love?

“And those who break the Covenant of Allaah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allaah has commanded to be joined (i.e., they sever the bond of kinship and are not good to their relatives), and work mischief in the land, on them is the curse (i.e., they will be far away from Allaah’s Mercy); And for them is the unhappy (evil) home (i.e., Hell).” [al-Ra’d 13:26]

If you would like a poem exclusively written for someone and it meets Islamic conditions, then I would be more than happy to consider it, and have it done, FREE of charge. None of these poems will be uploaded onto the blog so privacy is assured as well.

    Feel free to enquire at:

    ph.poem.requests@gmail.com

Wasalam ‘Alaykuum Wa Rahmat Allah Wa Barakatu.

***Please note that no promises are made in terms of having a poem composed, if it meets my conditions and I am able to do it, then I will consider it inshallah.

^ mashaa'Allah what a great initiative, it would be a great eid gift.
May I ask, what inspires your poetry? How did you get started?
The Biggest Enemy of Islam is Ignorance.
The Prophet S.A.W said, "An intelligent person is one who is constantly thinking about and preparing for death."

Can you write one to my lecturer who still hasn't given me my marks back yet? I can describe my feelings very clearly to make it easier for you.

    * Just kidding
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)

BarakAllahu Feeki, I hope it is successful and beneficial. And to be honest sister my inspiration comes from dreams, experiences and imagination.. I know it sounds cliche, but that's what it honestly is. Sometimes you'll just have a spur of the moment urge to write because something happened, or you saw something or you imagined something so I just try to put it in words. I have on my iPhone alone, about 21 unfinished poems, and that's excluding my iPad and computer and my other phone... Point being when the moment comes you just go for it, write wherever. And no one can take it away from you, even if you're in prison you can write, whether you're bed ridden, or whatever, no one can take your writing ability and desire for it away except Allah.

I started when I was in yr 12 in high school, one of our English subjects was poetry, I liked how the poets would mix their emotions, thoughts, imagination while also making a point about something. So I gave it a shot, and now I've been writing for almost 3 years Alhamdulillah. I write because it's a good stress reliever, keeps your mind going, and I also like to use it for da'wah. It's my way of giving it..

Whatever you like akhi, I can also threaten him in it of you like (on your behalf of course) I've actually written poems that "insult", or rather expose people, I did it to this kafir on a different forum, and my replies to his posts were all long poems answering whatever he said in his posts, it was funny to watch him get annoyed because I was taunting him yet refuting him at the same time lol...

    How's this quickie?

His pompous bottom had blocked my way,
As I walked to class and into the hall.
Eager I was to see how I done,
Where are my results? Did I stand or fall?

He led me to believe that I'll get them soon,
But how wrong was I as time ticked by.
Days to months - could it be years?
Will I receive them before I die?

I once had hope but to dust it is,
Losing my hope like losing a case.
All that effort and for nothing at the end,
Having to go back to pathetic first base.

I guess you can't deliver my awaited results,
Just like you can't, to your imprisoned client.
Life goes on - I shall dispute my case,
And always, will I, be every bit defiant.

Lol I >can< write better, this just mocking haha..

"Just like you can't, to your imprisoned client." << made me laugh!

Also, if anything, he led me to believe I will get them late, very late...
