    Salam evreyone..

    I registered a while ago but then kind of forgot all about it till a certain persistant forum member from here almost forced me to make an appearance. : )

    So here I am....

    A short Bio...

    My name is Sam - most of my friends call me Doc or "blood" (I am a Haemotologist by training)
    Grew up in an Athiest/Agnostic Muslim background (Egyptian/Croatian)household, discovered Islam about 5 years ago Alhamdulillah.
    I am 32, live in Mount Waverley, Melbourne - enjoy my swimming, Squash and moutain biking.

    I think I should stop - this should be enough!!!

    i don't mind needles (and I'm the only girl I know who doesn't)
    hey doc you reckon it's ok to take 2 ferro grad c tablets a day?

    now i have this mole in this very unfortunate spot and i need u to diagnose it for me, its kinda gross and painful when i sit. so like i can send u a pic or come to you and show u in person. im cool either way.

    Thank you Sister.

    There are some good RNs who will give you a shot before you can even ask " Does it hurt"?

    Re: Ferrograd C, you should have a "blood" test and consult your local GP inshallah.
    The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day for adults.

    Fatima- yeah really low, better get tested to see just how low.

    Doc- thanks bro, that's what the pharmacist said too but I just bought some today after not having taken any since way back last year and wanted to take two today to speed things up a bit. I guess ima have to go see ma gp. Bleugh.

    my friend took a needle for low iron she was right for 8 weeks now im willing to take that needle coz low energy everyday

    So for 8 weeks her iron was at a stable level? Or it had just increased enough for her to not feel the tiredness etc?

    I don't know what level her iron was at exactly but she was told by the docs that this dosage will keep her going for 8 weeks and it did, she didn't feel faint and she had high energy, etc, then straight after 8 weeks she crashed on the couch at home and she regressed.

    how about using iron pots and pans as well, rather than toxic non stick that most modcon folk insist on these days, trace amounts of iron will go into your food, good thing.

    Are you serious caller? Because the previous generations used to have utensils made out of mud. Maybe there might be a
    HUGE market to reintroduce them as newer, greener, and environment friendly alternative... And when you break one just crush it and spread it over your (neighbors) lawn...
