Assalam O Alaikum
My name is Emma. 32yrs old. Married. No children (yet)
I am Australian Muslim Revert who is still very much learning about Islam and I am keen to make some new Muslim friends.
Would love to hear from anyone (especially anyone in the west of melb).
Since moving from Brisbane, I have not really made any Muslim friends. I have found myself i bit isolated because of language and culture.
Are there any other Australian reverts out there?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Emma
xoxo

West is the best, nothing beats Footscray

As Abdraheim said, there are many converts on here, myself and him included. You will find many sisters here who you could meet, join the sisters' section and you will see they are always organising meet ups and similar things.Il futuro appartiene all'Islam

As Salaamu Alaikum sis.
yes, there are plenty of us around.. though I live in the northern suburbs.. but there are plenty of meetups.. We are planning on some soon insha'Allah.. It does take a while to settle into Melbourne if you have lived up north.. (sorry to all you melbournians but it's true..
)
May I suggest if you have a car.. come along to Coburg Lake starting on the 27th? December and join in the Stories in the Park.. you'll meet plenty of reverts there.. and other beautiful sisters insha'Allah.

I saw a Tshirt that said:

I reckon I would find it hard living in the western suburbs. I grew up in Doncaster and moved to the Northern suburbs, can't imagine living in Doncaster ever again though.
