i was jus browsin through and found ths thread very interestin...i have been living in mel for more than a year now and so sad to say, havent found a single muslim friend who lives nearby...i live in north
most of my friends live in lucky west

There are so many Muslims in the North! I am one of them. HIYC is in the north and if you go there you will make a lot of friends.

yeah hiyc is great!! ive been there couple of times with my husband but mostly late night for dinner or so...have also attended one of the sister's classes upstairs but again its kinda far from my place so cant realy catch up much...

It was a while ago now.. Its on the bottom level near the entrance to the underground car park, there is a t-shirt stall in the middle of the walkway area.

I hope you are not missing the warmth of Brisbane too much during these cooler months. At least you might have family back there you can holiday with during winter holidays I suppose.
