Alhamdulillah, we had a very beneficial session last night! Br Clay gave an inspirational talk about how he embraced Islam and reflections from his journey. We also covered some of the Etiquettes of learning as well as Islamic Resources available in English: Qur'an, Hadeeth, Other written resources, web sites, Recommended "You-Tube" scholars.
Next Session: 6:30 pm on Tuesday, the 12th of June !
Importance of following Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
A reply to Atheism
Bring your friends/colleagues/family members along to the class!
These classes are very relaxed, friendly and informal, which sets everyone at ease. The venue is suitable for non-practising brothers and sisters as well as for people interested in Islam.
We have comfortable couches and chairs for everyone, as well as tea/coffeee, biscuits and, at the end of the session, pizza and fruit. The mode of delivery is modern in that we use videos/powerpoint slides and an interactive approach, so sessions are usually very engaging.
So...share in the rewards and do your bit by encouraging and accompanying friends/colleagues/family members along to the class.

Tuesday Fortnightly Classes During Ramadhan
All Praise belongs to Him for His Perfect Names, Qualities and Attributes and for His countless blessings, the greatest of all being that He has guided us to Islam. I have great news to share: another sister (Sister Avianca) embraced Islam last night during the session! From a Catholic background, she has been attending these sessions for a while now and has come to realise that Islam has all the solutions/answers, whereas she could not find such solutions in Catholicism. In this month of Mercy, Allah, the Most Kind and Loving, has guided her to the truth, and with her testimony (shahadah) she will enter Paradise, inshaAllah.
Next Session: 7th of August @ 5:30 pm
IISNA, 995a Sydney Road, Coburg North
The session will start off at 5:30pm with food (slow-cooked lamb and rice, Lebanese sweets and some home-cooked food) and soft drinks as well as some other light food. After that, the classes will be on various aspects of Ramadan that every Muslim needs to know/clarify. The session will be based on one of Sh Ali Tamimi's Ramadhan talks, as well as Sh Munajjid's booklet on Ramadhan & Fasting.
These classes are very beneficial for all Muslims - as we are all in need of being reminded about the important aspects of Islam, as well as new Muslims or those interested in Islam. Make sure to invite new Muslims or those interested in Islam (friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues) along to these classes.
