I'm the master of easy and quick meals since I don't know how to cook being a bachelor. It doesn't get much easier than a bowl of cereal or a can of tuna

You guys sure went for the easy! I mean a bit more dinnery meals that are easy - if I serve toast we'll have to get takeaway lol. If the meal doesn't have meat then apparently it's not a meal.

    Tuscan chicken

Basic version (you can add extra veges if you want like mushrooms, spinach etc)

    • Fry in a small amount of olive oil 1/2 kg of chicken breast/thighs cubed till slightly browned
    • Add 2-3 tablesppons of Tuscan spices and stir
    • Add 250-500mls of massel liquid chicken stock (depends how salty you like it)
    • Simmer for about 10 mins
    • Add 1 tin of Evaporated cream (instead of fresh cream). Bring to the boil and simmer with lid off and allow to thicken. (if its still too runny after 15 mins, just add a little corn flour mixed in cold water)

    Serve with rice or pasta

When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."

My brother once made home-made pizza for the two of us and I watched him make it. Basically, he got pita (Lebanese) bread, spread tomato paste, put a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, olives, and sucuk. He didn't put mushrooms but it tastes better with it.

That should take about 5 mins and just put it in the oven until it starts to go crisp and that's it. It was really tasty, filling and very quick to prepare.
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)

We just serve it with a plate of yoghurt.. Yum yum yum. Or batata 'a baad (deep fry cubed potatoes, then fry off in a pan with a couple of eggs). Ok so there's no meat in that one but it's super yummy too.

Then you have tese'yeh, or fatteh, or maybe even ma'loubeh. And don't forget the awesomness of ma'karoona bilaban. Some people stir mince meat through it, but not sure if that'd pass as being awesome anymore.

Spagetti ! A quick Asian chicken style meal Chicken (withbone preferably wings) baked with just salt and in oven to crisp up ( the salt makes it crispy on outside ( serve with white rice and Asian dipping sauce and if you can be bothered some Boch Choy or other Asian greens quickly stirfried with some oyster sauce and sprinkle seasame). Sheppards pie there are different variations of it google up a basic recipie but usually involves frying off the mince with sauce base adding whatever else you like to the mix like mushrooms. Make mash potatoes and line upthe mince at bottom of tray then spread potato on top , bake serve with salad or boiled peas . Lebo stuff like lofts batata in tomato base sauce , it is what it is lol. My Uzbekistan neighbour taught me that rice with meat dish , it's somewhere here on the forum, pretty basic and I serve it with Laban . Mexican Fagita rolls , get the fagita spice coat the chicken strips (usualy chicken tenders) use grill pan to fry is best , line up your rolls ( use the Mexican bread))with salad filled , make your own flavored type rice , you can get that packet cheesy rice , but I just use some vegetta in normal rice. Anyways you add some flavoured rice tto the roll aswell, place chicken abit of salsa sauce ( sour cream if u Like and roll away) I fold both ends when I roll it and roll it with foil all over it and then cut them in half like they do in the food halls lol. Kavurma the Turkish dish with rice , that's pretty basic, you can even make kebabs out of it. Morroccon lAmb shanks , I posted it on here once , very basic and a good one for slow cookers but if you have a tagine it is best and sa
e recpie can be used for chicken with bone. I sometimes just make something like wedges and sour cream for dinner , if they have had a week consuming meat. We allenjoy the simplicity and yummy change. If I think of more I'll postem
    up

But something easy if you wanted to just fry your own meat with spice or something similar to kavurma, go to roxy kebab , grab some Turkish bread and dip from there

Grilled fish with a side of steamed veg and some tartar sauce or a creamy style sauce, making myself hungry here. Some puff pastry dishes anyone? I only got sausage rolls and my fake pitta lol

Aussiemu, my Napoli/Pomodoro recipe takes bout 10 mins to do (inck cooking time) and tastes really nice mashaAllaah. And u can do so many things with it like just make it as a pasta with any fillings u want (I just add Parmesan cheese on the plate). You can make Parmigiana with it, for the healthy conscious, grill a Chicken breast and cook some capsicum, onions and black olives into the sauce and serve on top of the chicken. If you like chilli, add hot salami to that dish or even a spaghetti Napoli dish. It's a really good base sauce and really takes no longer than 10 mins to make, every kitchen has the 7 ingredients required (olive oil, onion, garlic, tomato purée or Cannes tomatoes, S&P and dried basil.

Cream sauce is also very flexible but there are certain ways you cook the cream. The reason a lot of people vomit after eating cream sauce is cause it hasn't been cooked properly. Thats why no ones ever vomited from my cream sauce alhamdulillah And it's definitely not An "easy quick meal" lol
