    Assalaamu alaykum*

I've read through heaps of cookbooks including all of Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver's and probably found one or 2 dishes which I'd try at home. There all too complicated and you won't find the ingredients in your pantry

Yesterday I was at Epping plaza and walked a bookstore near the butcher section which had these really good cookbooks on sale for $5 each or 3 for $12. I seriously don't think I'll ever need to buy another book again! MashaAllaah I went through every dish and every single one of them looked and sounded amazing. And best of all, you'd find most the ingredients in your pantry.

If you're in Epping, I highly recommend these books... BTW the cupcakes one was for my wife

I agree with u about JO though, his recipes look awesome, but don't look feasible, and they aren't normal ingredients in ur pantry.

Still on my diet.. The good thing bout the recipes in this book is the food is healthy. Everything is either baked, grilled or pan-friend. Healthy food with great flavors. For recipes with butter and creams, you just substitute them for healthier options. Anyway, great recipes in these books!

I have a weak spot for recipe books and I do use them.. I usually find the recipe and then once I have made it or modified it then I make it my own. New books mean new ideas.. when I was living in families I cooked so much that for one whole 6 week weeks we didn't have the same meal twice.. that is my record .

I'm going to go look for these insha'Allah.. thanks Khaled.
