Have one. LOVE IT. Had a HTC prior, have fiddled with other phones and personally do not think anything compares to this phone. It is tougher, smarter, faster, just a great gadget. Only downside is if you are always using it, it has a terrible battery life, but that is true of most smart phones these days anyway..

It really depends how you use it and how often through the day you use it.

When I stopped playing games and apps and going online on my phone non-stop it started to last me practically the whole day. Also if you do little things like change it to 'Battery Saving' and avoid using the highest brightness etc.. that all improves its durability. If you do not want to give up the gaming my other solution was to keep a battery charger hooked up in the car to give it a quick fix when I get in the car if it is very close to death

At the moment I am addicted to a stupid game and playing non-stop so I just keep a charger close by it lasts me half a day heavily gaming on it.. But I am not a huge talker/texter so I guess that balances it out a little too although I do not find that using it as an actual phone wastes as much battery lol.

Nope. From china. if it needs repair it'll take 2 months because Samsung Australia does not recognise it and it needs to be shipped back to China. first hand experience here!!

i have the samsung galaxy s1, i was happy with it when i first got it, maybe cause i never had a touch phone before and i found it extremely cool lol, But now its getting on my nerves, it always freezes up. Even when i turn it off and turn it back on, as its loading it freezes and takes sometimes about 5 mins to go back to normal and then i can use it :S

It is a good phone, i love it, but its just the freezing up is getting on my nerves, and i cant read arabic writing on it, all the letters are separated and gets annoying trying to read a sentence

do i go to optus and tell them what the problem is or do i go to any shop that fixes phones?
