Okay so this sheikh is making tafsir of Al-Ayatul Kubraa from the story of Musa and Fir3own, and he is giving an interpretation of it that is kind of blowing my mind. That is, the ayah of the stick that turned into a snake, and how Musa's hand came out white. Actually, he is saying that in these two was a huge sign that fir3own understood perfectly, but we today misunderstand.
The pharaoh took it to mean that his destruction was coming soon and that his kingdom will be stripped away from it.
I would just like to know what you guys think of it. He uses only other Qur'aanic verses, hadith, and sayings of the Sahabah to get his meanings. Right click and save link as to download, but you can also just click on it and listen:

Part 2
Honestly I've been listening to this man's material a lot lately, and while he's definitely very different for many reasons from other mashaayikh I listen to, he's very easy to understand and he sure does keep things simple, considering he barely takes from anything other than Qur'aan and Hadith.

Asalamualaikum,
I've heard a few of Sheikh Abu-3arafa's lectures in the past and he has some really interesting interpretations. Especially in relation to the stories of the Prophets...and he brings you the proof from the Quran and sunnah as you mentioned. many things other scholars have completely missed in their tafasir subhanAllah. May Allah reward him. His site is below for anyone who wants the full lectures

Wow, somebody else who has heard of this sheikh. Yes his interpretations blow my mind time and time again and give me a renewed appreciation of the ayat in the suwar he speaks about. Even my reading of them changes because I know what they are really saying, yet so many people do not and it's a shame because it's absolutely mind blowing. His discussion on the ayat and `athab of thamud? Enlightening. His discussion about Surat Al-Qamar is amazing. And what was posted above also amazed me to no end, I had to pause for breath at some parts.
He's also ridiculously funny. There's a part in the first lecture above, at around the 42 or 43 minute mark where he was like "notice, Musa did not just straight away pull out the ayah to fir3own", the way he said it made me laugh so hard it was a hazard for me as I was driving.
