As salamu alaykoum wrb,
I received an sms earlier today indicating that Br Moustafa Abbas passed away after a long battle with cancer. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. May Allah swt have mercy on his soul, grant him the highest level of Jannah and grant his family patience, Ameen!
Sr Fatima, let us know if there is anything we can do to support you and your family. Keep us informed about the Janazah details, if you can.

Inna lillaahi wa Inna ilayhi raji3oun. The brother Allah yerhumoo was a dear friend of my husbands and was an inspiration to all.
May Allahs blessings be with him, may Allahs Mercy be upon him and may Allahs reward for him be nothing less than Jannat AlFurdaws. Ameen.
May his mum and family be granted much patience inshallah. A sad loss indeed.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)

The Prophet
told us that when a person dies either they are murtaah o mustarahun minh which means they are either at rest or the people are at rest from him but I can confidently say that Uncle Moustafa is at rest. His last words were La ilaha illa Allah even when no more sound was coming out his shahadah finger was always up.
He was going through the pangs of death from Saturday night. Sunday morning the whole family was there at the hospital as his soul was getting taken out. There was too many good signs to be upset. InshaAllah mart ammi is some hoor el ayn =) He was 34 years old.
InshaAllah tomorrow at Preston they are gonna pray on him and another brother as well after Dhuhr prayer.
Jazakillah khayran KALT and CVM for your msgs here, sms and FB and jazakumAllah khayran to everyone that commented and sent messages coz you don't realise how much you actually can soothe our pain with your words.. I personally appreciate it and your individual names are recorded in my head and inshaAllah in your book of good deeds. Whoever comforts a believer will be comforted on the day of Judgment so yes it does make a difference

may Allah give you alll patience.. losing a loved one is life's hardest test... esp when ur old enough to remember it. but watching them on their death bed and seeing how much nour is coming out of them is beautiful.. you will always miss them and it'll always be hard but time makes it easier.. is been 12 years since my mother passed away and you never stop wanting them to be in your life.. but i find comfort knowing that if i work hard enough i will get to see her again one day.. she also had a very peaceful passing... right after fajr in Ramadan.. and her last words was the shahada. subhanAlah they know when they are going to die.. she would always say before we would leave that she will see us tomorrow inshallah.. but her last night when i kissed her and said mum ill see you tom ok, she never replied. she knew.. may Alllah grant all our sleeping bros and sisters a spacious grave.. ;(
my daus are with you all pls if u need anything let me know.

Yesterday we went to visit my uncles grave, with my aunty, my grandma, cousins, my uncles daughter and his non-muslim ex wife, and every one of us felt at peace and happy, even my uncles ex wife was just looking at surprised, as to why we were feeling this way, it was truly amazing, and my grandma was so strong, only making dua for her son (my uncle) mashallah, we're all so proud of her

Notice how La ilaha illallah can be said without ever closing the mouth. It is from Allah's mercy so that even if you can't move your lips at that moment, you can still say it with slight movement of the tongue only.
May Allah have mercy on him and raise him in `illiyyeen.
