North Lebanon has officially joined the war against Assaad nd his goons

    http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middle...357553555.html

Ten people have been killed and dozens*wounded in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli in clashes between supporters and opponents of the Syrian regime, officials say.

Among the dead on Saturday were a woman and her son, killed by a rocket in the Bab al-Tabanneh district, a mostly Sunni Muslim community which supports Syria's*opposition, a security official said.

At least five were wounded in Jabal Mohsen, an area mainly populated by Alawites who support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Residents of the neighbouring districts have clashed repeatedly*in recent weeks, but Saturday's death toll is the highest in a single day in Tripoli.

Sporadic gun and rocket fire broke out at midnight*and continued through the night, forcing some residents of the port city to flee their homes.

"Over recent months, people have been warning that the crisis in Syria was going to spill over into the country," Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr, reporting from the capital, Beirut, said.*

"It actually has spilled over, and it's becoming a dangerous reality.

"Ceasefires have come and gone but without a political consensus, it's likely that we'll see more clashes.

Several people were killed in similar clashes in May. The frontline of the deadly street battles was Syria Street, which divides the rival neighbourhoods.

Supporters of Assad allege that Bab al-Tabbaneh is an operational base of the Free Syrian Army, the armed opposition gropup seeking to overthrow the government.

The Lebanese opposition backs the revolt in Syria while a ruling coalition led by Hezbollah supports the Damascus leadership.

What a lunatic. He is comparing the massacre of thousands of people, to what surgeons do when they are trying to SAVE lives? His stupidity and arrogance is beyond belief.

I was looking at the photos in the 'Martyrs' folder in one ofthe Syrian uprising FB pages and they are just normal smiling photos of all the people killed but they break your heart to look at them and realise they were tortured and killed. Men, women, old people, young, children etc.. Seeing fathers with their kids in the photos smiling, seeing children who were then shot by snipers in their schoolbus or in their homes, old men tortured and their bodies dumped.. subhan'Allah the regimes lack of any humanity is astounding.

Anyways I just felt like sharing.. I am sure that insha'Allah they are in a better place but I wonder what our fate will be like as we watch this unfold before us and will we able to answer to Allah SWT for what we did to help our brothers and sisters?

may Allah SWT protect the Muslims, grant them victory and destroy these zaalimun.

Rofl, it's pretty hilarious but so bad at the same time. The kid said something about Syrian reporting followed by a word that sounded like tafih (petty) or kafir. The reporter, after getting hit, said "curse your father you dog", which ofc is uncalled for but typical.

I think it was the same kid who hit him that made the curse, as you can see the reporters voice was completely different and initial response before cracking it was "na'am". At least be agrees with the other guy lol

Rofl yeah you're right, it was the kid that said it I didn't even notice. Hilarious, he's all talking like he's mad afterwards too.

Syrian rebels have killed at least 80 army soldiers at the weekend, an opposition watchdog has said, in a surge of attacks that followed their threat to resume fighting if President Bashar al-Assad failed to observe a UN-backed ceasefire.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said local doctors had confirmed the names of 80 dead government soldiers.

Fighters told the group they had killed more than 100 soldiers and destroyed some tanks in clashes across Syria,
including Damascus and Idlib province in the northwest.

Some commanders in the rebel Free Syrian Army had announced they would be "free of any commitment" to international envoy Kofi Annan's peace plan if Assad did not end violence by Friday.

    Reminds me of these Jews:

Singapore: oppresses Muslims, bans athaan, bans hijab in schools, prevents building of madrassahs or muslim schools, puts limit on the percentage of Muslims allowed in each apartment building, and bans Muslims from joining Singapore's elite military forces. Singapore; Israel's best buddy!

I think it was the camera-man who cursed the guy's father.

Yesterday morning about 45 army trucks were seen headed for Latakia, filled with tanks, weapons, rockets, shells, fighters, etc. thus is what happened after they got there -

Tentative calm and several casualties in al-Hiffa

Latakia province: A tentative calm has descended upon the area of al-Hiffa (the villages of Bekas, Shirqaq, Babna, al-Jenkeel and al-Dafeel) which had earlier witnessed intense fighting between rebel fighters and Syrian troops -who used helicopters to bomb the villages.

The initial result of the clashes, that the SOHR have been able to document The initial result of the clashes, that the SOHR have been able to document so far, stands at the following:

    -2 civilian martyrs, dozens injured.

    - 3 rebel fighters killed, including a defected officer.

    - 15 soldiers or security members killed, several others wounded.

    - 35 to 40 soldiers defected during the clashes, including 3 officers.

    - 6 military vehicles (tanks, armed personnel carriers) have been either destroyed or neutralized. One military vehicle commandeered.
The FSA issued a ultimatum which ended on Friday for the government to pull out its troops. They refused, and on Saturday the largest number of army fighters were killed in a single day. I think it was 67 alhamdulillaah. And from what we read in the above quote, FSA are getting stronger and stronger by the Will of Allaah and more government fighters are either dying or defected alhamdulillaah. They promised us something bug a few weeks ago. I think it is coming soon inshaAllaah

    Victory is near inshaAllaah

Syrian government forces backed by helicopters clashed on Tuesday with rebels in several towns in the coastal province of Latakia, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

"The clashes started seven hours ago. These are the heaviest clashes so far in the area since the beginning of the revolution (in March 2011)," Rami Abdelrahman, the head of the British-based Observatory, told Reuters.

He said at least five tanks and armoured personnel carriers were destroyed. Rebels have taken over police stations in the city of Haffeh in the countryside of Latakia, he added.

He said "a lot of ambulances" were seen arriving in the city of Latakia carrying government forces casualties.

"Haffeh is totally surrounded right now," said an activist in the city. He said the clashes were in the villages of Bekas, Babna, Jankeel.

Allaahumma Akbar!!!! Bashaar cuts off the water supply to the town of Rastan in Syria. The Muslims perform Salatul Istisqaa (the rain prayer) and immediately the heavens open up.
