lol CVM...yes it is very beautiful there. I love it....thats why we are going back. And our dollar is great there too MashaAllah. I'd go back yearly if I could, and detouring back from hajj would be cheap for you, we only paid $200 in total for a stop over in Singapore and we took our flights out to Malaysia from there.

Khaled sorry about your experience. I'm not a fan of their meat which is why I didn't suggest it, but their mantu, chicken curry and rice is nice. I've never had a problem with it nor have I ever found ants or hair :| that's just wrong. You should have let them know, you help them that way.

Try Salateen on Sydney road, it is the best Afghani restaurant around that area. Lazy camel was nice too but I think they have closed their shop for some reason.
Pamir restaurant in Dandenong is the best Afghan restaurant in the whole of Melbourne, but a bit pricey.Unity, Faith, Discipline

lol I'll never forget at Lazy Camel when the waitress was whispering to her boss about me and my friend, in front of us, looking at us and whispering.. we were eating with our hands and my friend was laughing and saying it's the Sunnah and the waitress goes WHAT? HAVE SOME RESPECT .. later we're telling the boss what happened and the waitress comes and stands next to us smiling, puts her hand up and goes BYE!! and the boss's jaw dropped.. he apologised like 100 times.. I still don't get what the big deal was all I know is we got treated like shhhhh by that waitress with the cross tattoo

I believe Lazy Camel is closed for renovations, that's what the sign out the front read.

[QUOTE=Khaled;574862]I just came back from there and can honestly say it was one of the worst meals I've had in my life. I got a skewer of chicken tikka, lamb tikka and the Kofta one and it had a tonne of somac sprinkled all over it. My chicken and lamb was all fat. There was hardly any meat on the skewer, and the Kofta was very dry. My wife's "chicken" curry turned out to be a lamb curry (apparently they an out of chicken) and it was also very fatty and OILY. This dish was literally swimming in oil wallah I felt sick just looking at it. Also, there was ants in my salad and it is way too expensive compared to there similar restaurants which have much better food. It was minimum $20 a meal! Overall, I'll give it a 1.5/10
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha OMG THIS IS TOO FUNNY!!!! LAMB INSTEAD OF CHICKEN!!! I feel sorry for you. I know the restaurant you went too. When I went there i saw a dog in there kitchen. Never again.

A guide dog in the area where people sit and eat is different to a dog being in the actual kitchen itself. We went as a group one time and one of the sister's that came with us is visually impaired and has a guide dog. They were kind enough to allow for it, not that they had any reason to decline

I honestly don't know the exact reason. darn it, i feel like I'm being interrogated lol I would have asked her to log on and answer these qs but her computer doesn't work and she's at home now so I don't have exact answers tbh.

no interrogation sarah, just clarification. Hearing a dog was in someone's kitchen is enough to put me off going there. Trust me dog hair takes years to get rid of. My in-laws dog that they had pre-islam died about 2 years after I married my husband and it took over a year for it to completely go, so its a huge issue if thats the case. If its a guide dog thats a completely different story as it won't reach the food if its sitting next to it's owner. We don't want the brother's business suffering due to a misunderstanding.

No one is saying they aren't nice people. We're just saying their food is really bad.
