    OH MY SUJUK

    Oh my sujuk
    oh my haloomi cheese
    you both come together
to make me weak at the knees

    one bite and I'm hypnotised
by all the flavours that mesmerise

    I sound a bit cliche
    of that I am aware
    but to you, dearest sujuk
    nothing can compare

    oh my sujuk
    oh my haloomi cheese
    you two remind me
    that my husband is Lebanese

the softness of the bread which you are baked upon
is one thing about you that made me write this song

I've had you at other places
    where you are differently done
    but none can compare
to how they make you at A1

    oh my sujuk
    oh my haloomi cheese
    you always leave me saying
    "Do not finish, please!"

the warmth and light saltiness of the cheese melted on you
makes me want to melt it further and have it as a fondue

I worry sometimes that eating you
will make me gain extra weight
but really, I think it's worth it
for our constant meeting must be fate

    oh my sujuk
    oh my haloomi cheese
you make me feel foul, not hummus
    you make me very pleased.

~dedicated to NRaf who introduced me to the lovely concoction of small salami pieces and cheese that is SUJUK pizza.

    Lol this made me laugh:

    oh my sujuk
    oh my haloomi cheese
    you two remind me
    that my husband is Lebanese

Quite funny, but perhaps a bit too much time on your hands.

Thing is guys, I'm neither crazy nor bored.
I was at work today and hadn't taken any lunch with me so was really hungry around 3pm.
As most of you will know, it was rainy and cold. The circumstances called for a nice, warm sujuk pizza.
After I got back from A1 and tucked into my lovely sujuk pizza, it hit me how much I love it and all these rhyming words to do with sujuk started popping up in my head!
I couldn't control myself....I constructed the poem as I ate and bang sujuk poem was born.

Line up for signatures please. No pushing in, I dislike pusher inners.

For a natural poet like Sister. masha'Allah it doesn't take any effort to write a sujuk poem when inspired by a delicous hot piping sujuk pizza infront of her.
