Syria: Blood and tears

Be patient O Syria your wound is deep

We are with you in the night we cannot sleep

We feel the pain the pain you feel

Maintain your zeal and do not yield

While you shed blood we shed tears

You have taught us to overcome our fears

We cannot match you in deed and rank

We pray to God to Him we thank

O brothers and sisters we are one

Together we submit to the only One

Without Him we are an empty can

But by His will yes we can

Know that this will come to an end

Our prayers and heart to you we send.
